Cheap price compared to competitors, however this then leads to poor service. Customer service is extremely under done! Had issues with my esim and could not get data. I called Lyca and they said they will write up my profile and get this sorted within a couple business days. Called them 2 days later and they had no idea about the issue so had to start from square one. Went to 2 pop up stores at train stations and both of them couldnt help me. My experience with Lyca Mobile has been extremely disappointing, seems to be frod. It has now been 1.5 months, and I still haven't received either the service I paid 35 eur for or a refund, despite numerous promises from support to fix the problem within 24-48 hours.This feels like outright fraud. This is the first time I've encountered such terrible service and deception in Portugal. Avoid this phone company at all costs. Checked for other customers review and see a lot of similar reviews. In case of similar problems write to ANACOM (Autoridade Nacional de Comunicações), DECO (Associação Portuguesa para a Defesa do Consumidor), Livro de Reclamações (local Complaints Book)UpdateAfter weeks of communication and 2 reports to ANACOM money were returned, but I don't use Lyca anymore.
Mobile services not working. Text messages not being delivered or delivered with many days of delay. Also bought extra mobile data plan- not working. Contacted customer service, and no one is answering, either through email, or a chat form. It is a biggest scam i ever saw, dont buy it.
I’m very grateful to talk with John today. He is such a kind and funny guy. He helped me a lot to make my problem easier. Now I am just waiting for the text from the lycamobile service . Hopefully it works good I can transfer my old number with a new lyca number 😌
