Review Time
My purchase never arrived and I had to contact customer service. They informed me they were out of stock of the item at which point I requested a replacement item. No response just a refund. Had to go buy another gift elsewhere for my father for Christmas.
Bought my son a jerky man crate for Christmas! It was absolutely his favorite gift and a huge hit with the family. From the packaging to the quality of the jerky it was great! Not only is my son a fan but my family has been given your website so they can place orders. Excellent and out of the ordinary gift. The only thing I would recommend is to please offer free shipping as that makes the gift a little pricey when paying for shipping.
I gave my husband the personalized whiskey crate and my son the ammo can with meat snacks. Both arrived on time and opening them was the highlight of Christmas morning, we all had a blast laughing with my husband as he struggled (in a very manly way) to open it. The decanter with his initials was gorgeous, and both the boys loved the snacks. Great experience, I will definitely buy crates for friends & family in the future.
I ordered from man crates for the first time this year, had NO idea what to expect, couldn’t inspect anything prior to Christmas! But my man said it was the coolest gift EVER and i was totally impressed with the product quality! LOVE LOVE LOVE ❤️!!!
The actual product just didn't live up to the hype in my eyes. Maybe I just expected too much, but while it's awesome concept. I don't think it's worth the price. I expected an actual challenge for the receiver. I figured the top would be nail down or secured in some other similar fashion, but it was glued and he was able to get into the crate in like five minutes. After seeing the products inside the crates I was pretty sorry I'd spent the money on it. The bag of sunflower seeds was so small, there were only three balls, but worst of all was the towel which had a very cheap look and feel to it. Just overall not the experience I anticipated and you could tell he was a bit bummed too. For the price it's just not worth it.
First time customer. Was supposed to receive my package on Christmas Eve, (I paid extra so it would be here on Christmas for my fiance) on the tracking it said it would be here today 12/24/20, and now was just updated to 12/26/20. Had I known, I would have went and got him something else for Christmas, as this was his big gift from me. I am so disappointed that this happened. Now I get the fun job of explaining why his gift didn't arrive in time for Christmas. Just sucks!!!!!
My first time ordering with ManCrates as a last minute Christmas gift for my husband and found the entire experience to be super easy and stress free. Even paid the express shipping to have it arrive in time for Christmas. Had a small shipping error on FedEx part but when I called customer service for ManCrates, spoke with Tiffany and she was super helpful and got the entire shipping delay corrected to be able to receive my package on time. ManCrates has earned my business as a first choice for any future purchases and recommendation to friends and family.
Can't say enough good about the customer service and the product. When I tracked my order the delivery people said "wrong address" will try to deliver another day. I called Man Crates - spoke to a really nice lady. She was very helpful, placed a second order at no charge. Really enjoyed the entire conversation. Kudos to the entire company!!
Very disappointed with delivery and customer service. Placed my order and it was supposed to be delivered on Thursday. Here we are Sunday and I’m told my package has been lost. It kept saying out for delivery since Thursday and has been moving through the states so I’m not sure how something can continue to get scanned but is lost. Customer Rep told me FedEx would deliver and basically just give them time. Called today and Rep told me it’s lost and they would refund me my shipping cost. It was a birthday gift that never got to my boyfriend. When she offered me my shipping cost refund I felt like she spit on my frustration. Here I am covid19 positive, feeling like hell, I done placed an order that was supposed to be delivered Thursday as a birthday gift and a big sorry I can’t celebrate with you because I’m sick but $10 refund makes it all better like give me a break. Rep places another order and tells me it’s free of charge, again like are you doing me a favor by not charging me. Why would I pay twice for something that wasn’t delivered. So apparently he will receive it by Tuesday which she said is expedited but his birthday already passed and why not overnight it because from Sunday to Tuesday is not expedited. I placed my order Tuesday and Thursday was the delivery date so looks the same to me. I’m sick, I’m frustrated and disappointed. Wish it would’ve been different. I truly did not expect this frustration. This company was recommended to me and I was going to pass that recommendation along. So dissatisfied
I am only writing this to warn people that contrary to the general thought you would have, that all gifts come in crates, they do not. I was really really disappointed to learn that little tidbit when I opened the box. (It seems like the advertising would suggest that they do) To be fair, the website (upon searching) does say that the shipping will vary depending on what you order. It was my own fault, but I was super bummed. I feel like I could have ordered the same thing elsewhere for less and had the same result. I only paid so much because I thought the crate thing was a cool added bonus to the gift. The shipping was fast, and the gift came in perfect time for xmas. It was also physically exactly as described.
