Bought Man Crates for each of my two oldest. Trying to find something unusual but usable is not easy when you don’t live close and you’re unsure of what they have. Man Crates was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!! They both loved them (one got cheese, other got bacon). Got calls right after they opened them~ usually Christmas call comes around 7pm - so I know these gifts were winners!!
DO NOT buy from this vendor! My daughter's Christmas gift for her Daddy never arrived and I had to contact customer service repeatedly for a response. We ordered almost a month in advance. Jerky gift was supposed to ship by 12/18. Nothing! When we finally heard back after waiting two days for a response to our texts, they informed me they were out of stock of the item and that Fedex has the package but was never scanned in so it couldn't be tracked. So sketchy! Had to go buy another gift elsewhere the day before Christmas. And their customer service was horrible. I would have expected that they shipped out another item for free overnight to resolve the issue. Nope! Just a refund and panic that their poor service created. :-(
I am very happy with our purchase. My husband and I ordered custom glasses for a friend. The item arrived broken ( things happen) but they quickly replied and replaced the item. I will definitely be purchasing from them again. I found their staff to be friendly and professional!
TERRIBLE!!! DIDN'T SHIP OR ARRIVE IN TIME FOR CHRISTMAS- WAS SCHEDULED TO ARRIVE 12/23I have reached out numerous times via email and text regarding my order not shipping or arriving in time for Christmas with ZERO response. I requested a refund as it was no longer needed. I am very disappointed after reading the reviews and going out on a limb for a special and expensive gift such as this. I ordered the Old Fashioned Set.
I purchased the 'Whiskey Appreciation Crate.' The quality and personalization of the crate were beautiful. I called and spoke to Sarah and received phenomenal customer service. She truly cares about what you need and went above and beyond. I will definitely be using Man Crates again and referring friends to use them as well! Thank you for being an awesome company!
It was so much fun opening up my Christmas present. I am 66 and was filled with anticipation as to what I might find inside. To my surprise the box was filled with golf related merchandise and I love it all. What a great idea, I will be using your products for future gift giving...Keith, Ontario Canada
I ordered a $119 steak man crate for My husband for Christmas. I thought it would be awesome and would at least take some struggle to open. I was wrong. Not only did my husband open his crate in 5 seconds, he didn’t even need to use the crowbar it came with. Extremely disappointed and would not recommend.
So here's my story... I ordered a Christmas gift for my son that included a customized/personalized flask & a Kershaw knife that came packed in an ammo can - a perfect gift for a 26 year old hunter, shooter, gun enthusiast and knife collector. The package shipped on time and on December 11th I track the shipment. The FedEx info said it was left at my door on December 10th at 7 :32pm...oops, just one problem. There was no package left at my door. I follow FedEx's rules, ultimately filing a claim. I get an email telling me they are trying to resolve my problem, but that if the problem is not resolved by December 15th I should contact the shipper. FedEx has no answer by the 16th so I contact Mancrates. I end up speaking to a VERY nice young lady - I wish I could remember her name, so I'm just gonna say Sarah - who was "fed-up w/ fedex" and all about resolving my case. She said "let me call FedEx and find out what's going on and I'll call you back," which she did later that same day. She said FedEx had "NO CLUE" where my package was, so she was just going to have another one sent to me. Unfortunately, there was only one problem. The kit I had ordered was now on back order and there was no guarantee I would get a new one before Christmas. However, she said she would add notes adding words like "urgent" and "expedite." I said "OK," that I would wait (because I really liked the kit and would just explain my "woes" to my son). Well, imagine my surprise when 2 days later I get an email from Mancrates telling me my package has shipped... really?!?!?!? So I pull up the tracking info and change the receiving destination to my local Walgreen's w/ FedEx services. I receive another email on that Saturday saying my package was delivered, but because I work, I couldn't pick it up until Monday the 21st. So I go into Walgreens at 9am, and lo and behold there is my package. I take it home and open it and there is the personalized flask EXACTLY as I had ordered it, and the knife, all nicely packed in the cool ammo can... WOW!!! This was my 3rd purchase from this company, but the first time I ever experienced a shipping problem, and which was obviously NOT Mancrates's fault. But I must say I have never dealt with a more caring, helpful and considerate company!! They took ownership of a problem that was not created by them and made good on their promise of taking care of their customer. Rest assured I will continue to be a big fan and customer of this company - may even buy one of their "jerky" package just for me!!! THANKS MANCRATES for a GREAT Christmas!!!!!
I order a crate for my son and a crate for my husband.I have never had so much fun watching them open a gift at Christmas. The duck tape was a brilliant idea and the pry bar took the cake. They loved what was in them once they got them open, which took a good long while. They had a hard time opening the top because it's glued!!! They finally figured out they should open the bottom of the crate and everything worked out fine. Ladies, if you want some fun you have to order the crates for your men!!:)
Every year I try to ante up on Christmas gifts for my friend and her family from the year before to make it fun. I was pondering the man crates for a while and decided what the heck, I'll do it since I couldnt come up with anything else that would make their Christmas. I ordered 3 crates and 1 smash & grab gift the last week in Oct. And they were to ship them out last week in Nov. to her house.Christmas day, I asked my friend how everyone liked the 3 crates.. Popcorn, Auto and Beard.. she said they only had 2 crates to open..no beard just Auto and Popcorn..I was so disappointed because I had gotten each of them a gift..She went on to say that the items that were supposed to be a surprise were labeled on the outside of the box..talk about spoiler alerts!! You should really rethink your strategy on that! And the box the crates came in was so poorly taped, who's to say what really happened to the 3rd crate they never got..she said the box had an empty space so anything could've happened during shipping..I contacted them through text message and explained my situation..they wanted to send a replacement but since Christmas is over and done with, my friend said I should just try and get my money refunded that the surprise magic of it all is done and gone!
