Review Time
Had an issue with my match ticket like I told the advisor at the window on match day. My knees were starting to hurt from queuing up for so long all I wanted was to get it sorted and go inside to have a sit down from waiting so long in the cold weather.Tried ringing the number I was given last time i had an issue at the city store and them lot on the phone are of no use, it’s as if they get paid to not want to help. I am in no way the complaining type and after several hiccups that find no permanent fix I am done biting the bullet on the matter and want to voice my opinion on the terrible customer experience this company run.After trying to get in touch using the number I had been given I could not get through or hung up on several times through the week. So I decided to arrive earlier than usual on match day to speak to someone face to face. The kind lady tried to see if she could get a chair I could sit on while my issue got sorted. Waited 5 minutes until the manager came to the window to see what the problem was. He said he could not help but was supervising the matter. I wonder if this is because I was now the last person at the window? He was rude to myself, my family and the other staff members on his team, calling her incompetent, saying things such as ‘you have been here for years how can you not do this yet’ passive aggressive, looking impatient, asking the main Steward to tell me off if I try to lean on the metal queue dividers, looked like he didn’t care about helping me, seems he cared more about getting inside to catch the rest of the match as I caught him looking impatiently at his phone and announcing goal scorers. I would avoid watching this team play, the staff try their best it seems but look understaffed or are clearly burnout from having such a useless manager, whoever hired him clearly is as incompetent as he is, as the advisors underneath him clearly do not enjoy being managed by him and he clearly has no clue what he’s doing, they would ask him for advise on what to do and he would roll his eyes and suggest they delegate the task to someone else as he didn’t want to deal with it, he even said ‘you are lucky you queued up because of you tried coming now we would have shut the ticket office by now. I was appalled that a club with success that they have would have such an arrogant man in charge, rude, unhelpful and constantly speaking down on his team, I got his name which I believe was Lee, i hope this is looked into because I myself only watch football at the stadiums here and there as a treat or when I’m offered a spare ticket to socialise at the age I’m at now, I hope something is done about this because I am glad I do not have to interact with him on a day to day basis, makes sense why every season so many of the ticket office staff are gone I do not blame them!
Took my two kids to the store and as usual ended up spending over £100 on them, Standard! We then went for a walk round the stadium,halfway round my boy was desperate for a pee, so we proceeded to the tour entrance where we'd been a week earlier to see if they would let him use the toilet and he was point blanked refused, a 11 year old boy dressed head to toe in city gear. This isn't the family club that I used to love going to back in the day, just a greedy corporate organisation. Oh and ordered six tshirts from the online shop for holiday only now find out they won't come on time, this was over two weeks ago.
Hi, I PURCHASED A TOP FOR MY GRANDSON FOR HIS 9TH BIRTHDAY WHICH WAS ON FRIDAY THE 8TH OF SEPTEMBER, I ORDERED THE KIDS MAN CITY HOME JERSEY 2023/24 ON THE 1ST OF SEPTEMBER, IN ADDITTION TO HAALAND AND NUMBER 9 PRINTED ON THE BACK SIZE 9 -10 PLUS THE PREMIER LEAGUE CHAMPIONS BADGE AND THE PREMIER LEAGUE FONT PAYING £86.50 BY VISA CARD. AS I SAY HE ONLY TURNED 9 LAST WEEK SO THE SIZE I ORDERED SHOULD OF FITTED HIM BECAUSE THE OTHER SHIRTS HE WEARS ARE AGED 9, BUT ON SHIRT ARRIVING WE COULD CLEARLY SEE IT WAS NOT GOING TO FIT, AND IT WAS WAY TO SMALL, EVEN THOUGH THE LABEL SAYS 9-10 I BELIEVE THIS IS NOT CORRECT AS I THINK THE SHIRT IS MORE LIKE A 7-8 YR OLDS, I HAVE PICTURES OF THE SHIRT TAKEN UP AGAINST HIS OTHER SHIRTS AND YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE IT IS A LOT SMALLER, LEAVING ME WITH A VERY UPSET GRAND CHILD STILL WAITING FOR HIS BIRTHDAY PRESENT.ON EMAILING THE ONLINE STORE I WAS TOLD THEY CAN'T CHANGE IT OR REFUND ME BECAUSE IT IS PERSONALISED, I KNOW YOUR A MULTI MILLION POUND COMPANY AND IM FULLY AWARE HAALAND IS THE FANS MOST FAVOURITE PLAYER SO THIS IS WHY I ORDERED SHIRT. I AM NOT ASKING FOR MY MONEY BACK I WANT TO REPLACE THE SHIRT WITH THE NEXT SIZE UP. TO MAKE MY GRANDSON HAPPY AND TO MAKE ME HAPPY SPENDING ALL THAT MONEY WITH NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT.PLEASE TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICS I HAVE SENT YOU AND SEE FOR YOURSELF I BELIEVE THIS SHIRT AS GOT THE WRONG LABEL ON AND THEREFORE IT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR A 9 YR OLD BOY. I TRUST YOU WILL DO THE RIGHT THING AND SORT THIS PROBLEM OUT FOR ME THE SHIRT AS NOT BEEN WORN AND IS STILL WITH TAGS AND LABELS ON AS THE SAME AS IT ARRIVED.PLEASE GET BACK TO ME AS SOON AS POSSIBLE MANY THANKS MIKE MILLER.
My season ticket has still not downloaded , This week , I have spent over 7 hours on the phone and been to the ground twice , MCFC Employees could not download my season ticket but told me the old Ticket from last year would work and let me in for the Newcastle game . of course it did not and I had to get an official to let me in 3 minutes before kick off . I have sent three more e mails , none of which have been replied to . I have been a season ticket holder since Maine Road and now they are not even giving me the courtesy of a reply . The way that the MCFC treat fans is beyond belief . Loyalty means NOTHING ! I have not even had so much as an apology and my season ticket has still not downloaded . the service is absolutely atrocious . I never had this trouble with my plastic season card which I would love to return to . Thank you for publishing my review
I took my 8 year old grandson, who is a fanatical Manchester City fan, on the stadium’s tour. Steve W and Dave were amazing guides. Steve W was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Great job guys. My grandson had an amazing time and a birthday to remember. Thanks everyone
I visited the Etihad stadium with my partner yesterday we had the passes for the stadium tour and the Training academy it was amazing and such a good experience for the money , our tour guide Steph was lovely and was great with all the kids on the tour got them involved and made the experience 10/10 , i would definitely recommend the academy tour also! We were took on a gold buggy by Graham the tour guide to a stone throw away academy where we got to see some of the players cars , over all was a great day we also received 10% off in the store !
DO NOT BUY GOOD FROM MAN CITY!!!!I purchased a kit from the store and they used DHL to deliver my grandson's kit for his birthday. DHL delivered the kit on the date I asked them not too, due to both myself and my husband being at work, they left the kit outside my house and resulted in the kit being stolen, which Man City think is clearly acceptable. After numerous emails and adtemps Man City have been totally useless and will not refund or send a replacement. Now I have a very sad birthday boy and a awful taste in my mouth from this so called fantastic company, they should be ashamed of themselves!!!.
Bought ticket for Man City v Leeds match last season, match moved from Sunday to Saturday, as I was travelling from Kent, could not attend match equals very disappointed fan as these are very rare treats for this 60 year old Man City fan.Submitted refund and reply was refund within 30 days.Since then, so many promises my request is with finance, with fans support manager etc, chose to believe and trust each promise from such a large fan led organisation would be true to its word, well the opposite is true.Today, was promised Lee Dearden, Senior Fans Manager ‘promised’ to phone and sort out this debt Man City owe….another false promise!!!!!Well Man City, I’ll never stop supporting the team, as I will never stop until you pay your dues.
