I still stand by my 5star review after reading all the negative reviews .. alwayz keep in mind that if you want anything done be respectful.. a smile and a friendly voice always has a positve response. I understand that these are all our opinions but i also believe that a response is always according to attitude.
Rang "customer service" for help with my son's account, whoever I spoke to needs some training in dealing with people, I felt like I was inconveniencing him by calling. When I couldn't immediately find the menu option that he suggested, he offered no further support or attempt to work out where I was on the website to try and guide me to the correct place. I heard him say "Jesus Christ" under his breath, not sure if this was aimed at me or something else he was doing in the background because I didn't really feel like he was engaged in the conversation we were having. Charging the prices they do for tickets plus matchday membership @ £55 and they can't be a*sed to help you spend your money with them.
Shocking service I received today, I ordered my son the home top for his birthday party on Saturday yet the top come without the name of his favourite player on the back in which I had paid for!!I received an email to take it back to the shop to get the players name on the back I live 4 hours away from Manchester !! Then I get an email to say I can have 20 percent off the price, then another email to say I can have 30 percent off the price !!!! I’m not here to barter I just want the product I paid for horrendous service don’t order from the store, I have spent over 300 pound online in this store over the last 3 weeks the service is horrendous!!!!!!
Very disappointed and disillusioned with MC. I paid for a Cityzens membership on 4th November 2022, for my 10 year old grandsons Christmas present. The pack has STILL not arrived! I have spoken to ‘customer services’ several times, been promised that I will receive a phone call…. nothing. I have email and even opened a formal complaint. I have still not received any phone call, response to my ‘official’ complaint, or the Cityzens pack. I am appalled by the lack of concern and response, especially considering the ‘social’ standing of this football club.
Man city customer service where absaloutly excellent, my daughter contacted man city to try and get tickets to the city v dormand champions league match for my man city daft niece who doesn't keep well for a birthday treat and to cheer her up. Hugh at the ticket office my daughter spoke to over the phone did everything in his power to help and managed to get them tickets and was extremely helpful. When we got to Manchester on holiday my daughter and niece also did the man city tour which they said was excellent experience and again the staff where absaloutly brilliant.Customer service excellent , tour and match experience for my daughter and niece was great. Thank you man city for making my niece feel so special and for making her time at city a experience she will never forget.
My son came with his football club as it was supposed to be a fun day arranged by the club. To have my son sad and crying as his football team and other football teams got medals and he was told they had ran out. Not a very fun day to see my child sad and crying what should have been a great experience turned into a sad day.
The shop knowingly sold my 11 year old a faulty product, while he explained that he'd saved up for it himself & lived 4 hours way. Shop being completely unreasonable. Will not except a postal return with proof of purchase. Well done Manchester City your greed is astounding.Generational Manchester City family
My daughter ordered me a top for my grandsons birthday and five months later the 1 is coming off shirt.I messaged customer services and they have offered me 30% refund.With the amount I paid for the shirt ,they should stay on forever.I am notifing trading standards to see where I stand on this.When you pay £70 odd pound for a top you expect it to last a long time and five months is not a long time
Do not order from the City shop. I ordered a shirt last November which took 6 weeks to arrive with no apology from customer services. I again ordered a shirt as a birthday gift for my son 6 weeks ago and still has not arrived. Contacted customer services to be told "supply issue" but no indication of when it will be shipped. It is such a shame as when you go to City the staff are fabulous but whoever is responsible for online sales is really letting the club and supporters down and should be doing something about it looking at the reviews.
