First I want to stay I have been a very loyal customer to the brand for 5 years recommending many friends and family to it however I am currently very unhappy with my recent experience. I have purchased pieces using a store credit and because it was over the amount I also paid part of it with a credit card. I returned part of my order and instead of refunding my credit card they refunded my store credit which seems totally unfair. So I requested the team to look into this and refund my credit card instead of the store credit. Initially I was told this was totally reasonable and they just needed a bit more time to process the refund however I wasn’t receiving any update so I followed up and I am now told that this is their policy to first refund store credit before credit card and that’s the way it is. I am super disappointed if that is actually true. If that policy is meant to FORCE people spend more it’s gonna do the opposite as if they are not willing to refund my credit card I will be returning my pieces and will not be shopping with Mejuri anymore and sharing my experience with others. Anyone would agree this is a very unfair policy that is just meant to force people into spending more and no one likes that. I have about $200 store credit, I purchased for $200 and yet I am now left with $200 store credit how does that make any sense ?
