Review Time
My husband and I went into the Mejuri store to purchase his wedding band approx 2 months in advance of our wedding. Sales associate told us that his size was not available, but there were 999+(!!) units of the ring available in the local warehouse, and that the ring would be shipped to us within 2 business days. After about 2 weeks with no sign of the ring, we started contacting Mejuri (as we wanted to be sure we had the ring for our wedding, which was out of town). It was at that time we learnt that the ring (which we had already paid for) would not be delivered until 15 days after our wedding (almost 3 months after ordering it). After weeks of going back and forth explaining the situation to multiple customer service reps, we received multiple conflicting stories about when the ring was expected to ship. Mejuri did absolutely nothing for us (except bounce us back and forth between about 15 different reps), provided no explanation as to why there was such poor communication between their in-store associates and their inventory system, and did not offer us any kind of solution (apart from offering us a refund, right before the xmas holidays when it was abundantly clear that we wouldn't be able to get a replacement or find an alternative in time, anyways). We managed to buy a cheap stand in ring for our wedding, however we were both super disappointed with the lack of professionalism, ability to clearly communicate with customers, and 0 interest in helping us. I've been a repeat Mejuri customer since the company was first formed, but will no longer be shopping here. The quality has significantly decreased over time while prices have gone up. There are better alternatives out there for fine jewelry for sure. TLDR; if you're looking to buy something from Mejuri for a specific special event, make sure you physically leave the store with it or you're almost guaranteed to be let down.
I love my new pair of earrings. This pair in particular is unique as I can wear them with or without the detachable hoops. It is like two pairs in one. They came quickly in secure packaging. The quality is extremely high, as are all my pieces from Mejuri. I've taken to ordering myself a gift each year during the year end sale. It is something I really look forward to to treat myself. I wear my Mejuri pieces everyday and they maintain their quality. I love them!
UPDATE: For anyone wondering whether Mejuri reaches out to help or improves the situation, they don't. The below response is probably a marketing strategy to keep negative reviews at bay. I was really looking forward being a customer at this store. When purchasing a gift for Christmas the estimated delivery was calculated to be well before Christmas, however in the end it arrived after. The last minute search for replacing that gift together with weeks and weeks of trying to get the customer service help me with the return, passing the email chain between multiple agents, only to eventually notifying me that if I wish to make a return that will be 20 euros plus all the unforeseen duties and taxes - is not worth it combined with the steep prices. This customer service is not up to European standards and I regret purchasing something oversees, only to deal with such a mess.
