Don’t fall for it. It doesn’t do the job intended. It doesn’t cut the hair, so you have to go through the same area at least 10 times to get close to even cutting a hair. I contacted customer service and apparently I can’t do anything about it because it’s been more than 30 days (it’s been 38) and it’s opened. It’s useless. So be prepared to waste £100 for absolutely nothing. The only reason it took me more than 30 days to send it back is because I wanted to give it a second chance. My hair doesn’t grow that quickly so here I am stuck with this horrible product just because I wanted to give it a second chance.I’m editing this as a reply to meridian. You don’t have to explain what your trimmer does, it’s a trimmer, I get it. You keep on changing what my issue is, which is that IT DOESN’T CUT THE HAIR. It’s not that it doesn’t cut it short, it’s that it doesn’t cut it at all unless I go through it a minimum of 10 times. Your return policy goes against the three month customer rights that I have for a product that is faulty. I don’t have enough hair growth to try this product twice within a 30 days period so your return policy, again, like your company, is extremely predatory.
I purchased a Meridian trimmer in March 2023. It stopped working in September 2023. The trimmer is supposed to come with a 1 year warranty so I attempted to file a warranty claim with Meridian. After several attempts to get someone to reply to me, I am not able to get a hold of anyone. I loved the trimmer, when it worked. But the lack of response from the company is making me apprehensive to purchase anything else from them. So be forewarned. Great product when it works, not so great customer service.**UPDATE 03 October 2023**After posting this review, and raising a complaint with BBB, I got a response to my emails and a resolution to my issue. I wish I didn’t have to take such measures to get a response though. But this issue has finally been resolved to my satisfaction.
I recently purchased the Meridian shaver, excited to experience its promised features and performance. However, my excitement quickly turned into disappointment and discomfort when I came across a shocking warning on the product's box, a warning that was conspicuously absent from the website where I made my purchase.The warning on the box explicitly stated that the Meridian shaver can expose users to chemicals including cobalt, lithium, nickel oxide, known in California to cause cancer. This revelation left me stunned and deeply concerned about the potential health risks associated with using this product.One of the most significant issues I have with this situation is the lack of transparency from Meridian regarding this critical information. It's beyond disappointing that such an important warning is buried on the product's packaging rather than being clearly communicated on the product's website during the purchase process. As a consumer, I believe it's my right to know about any potential health risks associated with a product before I make a purchase decision, and this was not the case here.Given the gravity of the warning, I have chosen not to use the Meridian shaver out of concern for my health. The fact that a product I had looked forward to using may pose a risk of exposing me to carcinogenic chemicals is deeply unsettling.In summary, my experience with the Meridian shaver has been disappointing.
Apparently, I have been signed up to a subscription of a blade being sent out every 3 months without me knowing. I just received the email that the order is confirmed 5 minutes ago and I immediately contacted customer support through the chat function. They said they couldn't cancel the order. i don't get why you can't cancel the order. It is such a hassle to go through the returns. This type of business model is scam-like, cause you know that most people forget to cancel subscriptions, and most people are not bothered to go through the returns process. So your company makes money off people who don't really even want the product.
Amazing trimmer, I love this brand and never thought of using anything else after using this. 10/10 would recommend. Please buy this and do yourself the favor of staying trimmed everywhere with Meridian. Great customer service and product is just amazing. Love loveeee loveeeeeee
