Review Time
Very disappointed with the service I have received. I placed an order on 13th April for frames only (no lenses). I received an email on 25th April to state there will be a delay with my order, due to this I responded the same day to state that I would like to cancel my order. Their cancellation policy on the website states that orders can be cancelled before they are shipped, which was the case here. On 28th April I was told because the order was in 'processing' they could not cancel the order, I pointed out their own cancellation policy and requested again for it to be cancelled and a refund issued. (it had been in 'processing' since 20th April according to an email I received) This request was also ignored as they responded claiming it had now been shipped (5 hours after I sent the second request to cancel).Although, they have informed me I can return the frames for a refund, yet there would now be a lengthy delay as I still need to wait for delivery, return postage time and then return processing; which if it is as slow as the dispatch time could be many weeks.All this time they have my monies in their bank, it feels like a company making money from holding on to yours for as long as possible. I would recommend avoiding this company.
I'm still waiting for my glasses or my refund after 1 month. your customer service responses became unresponsive.It's super sad that scam companies like this exist. I believed the good comments and although I'm very careful about avoiding fraud, this time I'm afraid I fell for it.Please, please, I know they are good prices but if you don't want to lose your money DO NOT BUY HERE, DO NOT BUY HERE.
At this point I'm starting to wonder if im ever going to receive my sunglasses! Ordered them nearly a month ago and don't get any straight answers through the online live chat, I was told i would receive my sunglasses this week after delays in there warehouse but have not received any update on shipping etc and on my account it says my order is still processing. I'm due to go on holiday within a few weeks time and brought the sunglasses specifically for that and at this point im wondering wether or not ill receive them in time even though delivery was ment to be over a week ago originally and wasnt told it was delayed until i contacted them on there live chat, which to me is unacceptable. What is going on mia burton where is my order? Will I receive it this week as promised by a colleague on your live chat? I don't think so.
it's been a month now since I ordered and they promised delivery "within a few days"either the site is real and they just have the worst customer service ever, or at this point I just assume the whole thing is a scam and they have no intention of ever shipping anything.EDIT: two weeks later (~6 weeks in total) they still hadn't shipped and the help email offered to refund the money, which did appear on my credit card statement as truly refunded.so I don't think it's a real scam -- I got my money back and all is well -- but in the end I ordered glasses from the place I should have from day one and now I'm out two+ months of faffing about
I would like to share how really disappointed I am from this company. I ordered a pair of sunglasses on 18 March and every week when I email them they assure me how I will receive my order "next week"...This is the final SIXTH week Im giving them the chance but I doubt they will send them.. very very disappointing and I checked the sunglasses on their website and it still shows that "the product is available". Obviously it is not.
I'm happy with the sunglasses I finally received, however, I personally would have preferred to pay a little extra and purchase elsewhere due to the long and delayed delivery time.I can't fault the customer service team and their quick response to my emails but I think the company should realistically manage peoples expectations with delivery times as I didn't mind waiting the 2 weeks specified delivery time for my glasses but I didn't expect to wait 5 weeks for them to arrive...
Perfect. I only had one brand and frame style in mind, Mia Burton had them in stock! I uploaded my current prescription and the glasses arrived 10 days later. Very happy with the prompt service, fast shipping and fit of the frames. They are so perfect, thank you :)
