I wanted to move my Samsung Notes from my phone onto my PC. It turns out the only way that this can be done is by me installing Office365 as well as Outlook365 on my PC. This seemed harmless to begin with, but then I thought why would I have to install the whole Office 365 as well as Outlook onto my PC. The only logical explanation I can find for this is Microsoft is desperate to push people over to O365. First they got rid of Outlook years back, and tried to push everyone onto Outlook365 then, after years when that strategy did not work, (who in their right mind would trust all their emails with Microsoft, or any other aggressive company?) they brought back Outlook, but without pst files, so that rather than keeping the files on our PC we would have to keep them inside Outlook (this is in preparation for them charging for keeping our data for a fee). They are so hungry for our data. Now, they are trying to get to our inner thoughts by stealing them with O365 OneNote. You might think why? Well it's all about Data now. AIs are hungry for it and Microsoft as well as the largest companies out there are desperate for it. I uninstalled O365, and didn't even use it. Guess what, the installation of O365 also force-installed Outlook on top of my existing standalone Outlook. So I had to uninstall O365 twice to get rid of it. But then, the nasty piece of work that Microsoft is, it also uninstalled my standalone version of Outlook. Now I have to start installing my standalone Outlook and connect to my email service provider. Disgraceful, pathetic and grotesque.
TERRIBLE incompetent customer service.I got hacked and the hacker changed all my recovery options without even knowing my password (session cookie). It's IMPOSSIBLE to get in contact with anyone competent in customer service and you get a wall of low-paid indian. My account was paid for and 20 years old. Their "security" systems will only secure a hacker, as I was able to recover my account myself but not change security information as I didn't have access to the fake email.I have talked to 5 different customer service guys who are all "microsoft ambassadors" and equally useless. Eventually CDOC got involved and all they did was lock my account completely and send me a mail with questions that had no correct answers as I never used my account for email. This company should be sued, do NOT trust them with anything!
Microsoft support either didn't read, or intentionally chose to ignore my purpose for contacting in order to get rid of me.Either way they gave me useless information and then closed the ticket without even providing me an opportunity to respond for clarification.Microsoft has no intention of honoring their contracts or treating customers with respect. One more reason to file an FTC report.
I recently got a brand-new Dell XPS 15 with Windows 11, and it’s been quite the experience. It’s like a time machine, taking me back a decade to when you’d click on something and have enough time to make a coffee while it processed. The nostalgia is real—talk about an immersive throwback! Thanks for delivering such a unique, priceless journey through time.
Appalling to use now, pop-ups over teams that force you to use the newest version even if its incompatible; they've taken security to excessive levels - if you haven't got access to your mobile you will lose access to all your apps and documents - its insanity
Absolutely impossible to speak to anyone. Every phone number a dead end every email address a dead end. I'm really impressed some of you got to speak to an agent. Tell me how please. They invaded my computer, changed everything and now I don't have access to my documents. What is that about?
