Minster bay watch is an outrageous company. I submitted legitimate evidences, appealed through their difficult to navigate portal and went onto the next level of appealing, but they are savage and have no empathy whatsoever. please refrain from using this parking space as the signage is very unclear and they are to catch you out for money due to cost of living. This is NOT AN INCENTIVE TO WRIYE ABOUT IT EXCEPT A GENUINE REASON AND CASE.
This company appears to be more interested in making money by fining motorists than by providing a parking service. Having parked for a dental appointment with my disabled wife, I found the ticket machine was out of action, covered and taped. Despite a search there was no indication of an alterative means of payment. The dental staff informed me that I would not be alone in receiving a fine, unless I could pay by phone (which I did not have with me). How long is a company allowed to operate a car park with a broken ticket machine, no indication of payment alternatives and a stesdy income from fines?
I have had a payment demand today for a ticket for which the original notice was never received. This may have been because the post service failed to deliver or, most likely, because they never sent one in the first place. The alleged contravention was a £60 increasing to £100 after 14 days, then increasing to £155. I run a fleet of over 250 vehicles and all parking and speeding offences are always dealt with within 3 days, usually the same day as they are received. There is no right of appeal given as it is over 28 days from, when they claim to have sent the original charge. The website states they are unable to discuss parking charges over the telephone and there is no other way of contacting them, the email address given states that they are unable to assist with PCN's already issued. Following the appeal links, it is rejected as over the time limit. If one of our drivers has made a contravention, we will always pay, but surely we can expect a fair service and some reasonable communication channels to be in place.Overall, this is a thoroughly unprofessional service by an apparently unscrupulous company.
Terrible company. Attended York College as a volunteer for students to practice on. I was unaware you had to register your vehicle as I was uninformed on arrival. Two weeks later, I Received a parking notice fining me £60 or £30 if I pay within 14 days. I submitted my appointment card with said date and time of appointment as evidence to prove I was at the appointment and not just parking there for free. And they have rejected my appeal and offered that I can pay £20 as a goodwill gesture. Or if I take it the ombudsman as an appeal and it gets rejected again I will have to pay the full £60. Last time I’ll be volunteering to go let students practice on me to help them qualify 👍 good job Minster Baywatch. Notice Number 71206958
Absolutely disgusting company. Issuing fines for disabled people displaying their badge. Appealing is a waste of time as they have no morals just out to exploit as many people as they can. They have no compassion for disabled people and their daily struggle. I would advise everyone to stay well clear. This happened at Meadowhall Sheffield somewhere I will never go again. I will spend all my money elsewhere - horrendous experience
Got a ticket lol today scumbags chase me ...car is not owned by us or in the address dvla have.. so bring it on won't pay as this is invoice no signs no nothing so NO contract clowns 😜😜😜💩💩💩🤡🤡🤡 plus live abroad won't be threatened by some lowlife scummy tin pot company
Medicine minister Baywatch gave me a parking ticket in the free car park because I hadn’t registered as a mother and baby in the spaghetti junction that is Meadow Hall Sheffield knowing it’s free parking everywhere I parked in a underground part of it which I didn’t want, but I can’t fathom where to go there any time anyway And they ended up with a car parking ticket in a free car park on a Sunday mince to make it really hard if you want to query it you have to write a handwritten letter. If you want to pay it that’s easy enough. They’ll do that straight away funny that isn’t it they make it as hard as anything for you to appeal. super easy to pay who wants to write a letter pure ripper
I have complained against a parking fine, but instead of addressing the issue (I had to park in a undesignated spot as there were no other places despite having already paid for one), they send an automated response with no reference to my original complaint at all.
