Misleading information on delivery surcharges

Miscota failed to disclose that the currier they use in my country is AUTOMATICALLY charging a surcharge on all packages prior to delivery, even those whose value is not taxable. When I informed them of that and asked to state this clearly when placing an order, I received a generic answer with no intention of trying to improve their service and transparency towards customers.

Poor service

Revised review on 9/1/23I have changed my review from 1 star to 3 stars. After finally getting in contact with "a human customer support" the problem was resolved without any hazzle and I was refunded for the missing goods.Original reviewI have used Miscota for several years without any problems. In my latest order MIS-5581178 (2 big bags of Orijen), only 1 bag arrived in front of my door without any wrapping, note or sender information.I contacted Miscota about this problem, but they ask me to provide photos of label and box which is not possible because it wasn't delivered in any box or with any note.I hope that Miscota will resolve this problem ASAP.

god few items was out of stock after i…

Good few items was out of stock after i order nobody tell me this since i not ask when you send it .. when i find out this i ask to cancel. pay true paypal but they will only tell me that money i will get after 14 days , so they hold my money for mistake what they made . Paypal is immediately refund i know that .. So i will open case there .. Dont recomend this company support is very rude and bad !! Christmas is comming and they dont want to refund !!!!!!!!

I am giving a 2 stars because of Support Response and Resolution

I am giving a 3 stars because of the support response and resolution. I have ordered from them twice for Pronefra for my 2 cats. The third order was placed on 9 Nov 2022 (bigger order) to be delivered to Canada and have sent multiple emails to them (can't call them)that I have not received the order. If they are unable to track down the package after so many days, I recently requesting full refund since it is Dec 5. No response from them. One bad experience is going to get me not to buy the products from Spain even though there is a so called "Canada" Miscota. I have recommended the Pronefra to my friend but I think I have to warn them on the shipment and support.

Was charged £175.00 for a measly order…

Was charged £175.00 for a measly order of £48. Where are the goods coming from? Pluto???? The website is Miscota.co.uk so why the exorbitant shipping? Gave this order a miss straight away. Looks DODGY !!

Unprofessional shop and illegal practices

I place an order from the website ch.miscota.com. At this point there was no information available about the company on the website (neither in "who we are" or "contact us") and I was mislead to believe the company was based in Switzerland and the good will be shipped from Switzerland to Switzerland. When receiving the order (which was coming from The Netherlands by the way!?!?) I discovered I had to pay import fees and VAT into Switzerland then I understood I was mislead especially the order confirmation does not state the company legal adress neither! First not pleasant experience.But that comes the tricker part here: because they decided to break my order into 3 parcels they placed 3 times the invoice for the full order into the 3 parcels. That lead the Swiss customs to invoice me 3 times the VAT and import fees as if I ordered 3 times the same articles for the entire value! In other words, they incorrectly declared the value of goods to the custom and I had to pay 3 times the Swiss VAT + custom fees at import because they mistakenly showed that each parcel has for value of goods the full value of the order while they decided to split it in 3 parcels.After exchanging emails with their customer service and claiming the refund of extra fees/VAT paid due to their mistake, they changed suddenly the general conditions and added clause 11.9 which states that they do not have any responsibility about the custom/VAT/etc. I took screenshot of their website prior to this change. Do you believe that? How nasty is that? Now the situation is stuck as they refer to this clause and get out of any responsibility and ignore my questions.The second part comes here: I got to know from them via our email exchanges that actually I paid the Spanish VAT on the goods for that purchase. That is an illegal and incorrect practice. As the goods are for exporting out of EU (to Switzerland) the VAT should be paid only in the country of the final destination of the goods. This is incorrect and VAT should never be paid twice. They totally ignored my additional requests to refund me the Spanish VAT as I paid Swiss one and I am not supposed to pay Spanish VAT since good left Spain.Please run away from this company, very poor customer care, service and respect. On the light of the above, the company goes against the laws of the EU regarding the VAT.If you are in Switzerland as me, never order from them!

Guess I am not the only one who says…

Guess I am not the only one who says stay away from this place !! First off I ordered wet kidney dog food thinking it would be good for my dog . Waited three months for it and paid a fortune for shipping . I get a box today and guess what empty !! Eighty dollars for an empty box . And a letter saying the us postal threw it out didnt meet the standard requirements. Junk and no way to get ahold of them !!
