Poor quality - over priced .Monkhouse push customers to buy more, even given wrong info. In Bedminster I was told that the PE kit was all compulsory it is not true. In Kingswood condescending attitude. I was asked a lot questions about how when where I bought the item despite having a receipt . I came for a refund .The shop assistant gave me the info as i was listening she straight away went to at the back of the shop and asked a manager to talk to me . " The manager " repeated the information. I thought -Am i too stupid to get the info ? LAST BUT NOT LEAST MONKHOUSE DOES NOT REFUND ITEMS DESPITE THIS BEING AGAINST BRITISH STANDARDSCUSTOMERS SHOULD HAVE THE CHOICE TO WHERE TO BUY ITEMS . MONOPOLE IS AGAINST THE LAW IN UK.
Visited Monkhouse in Cheltenham today to sort out school uniform for my son’s late admission to sixth form. Matt was absolutely fantastic — he couldn’t have been more helpful. He quickly found the right shirt sizes, went the extra mile to check the stockroom for a jumper, and was genuinely warm and courteous throughout. After a particularly stressful week, his kindness and professionalism were a breath of fresh air and truly restored my faith in the fact that kind, thoughtful people still exist. Thank you, Matt, for turning a stressful task into a pleasant experience!
Look at the 1 stars any company with high 5's and high 1's must be questioned.Monkhouse a complete rip-offThey get their clothes made in China cheaply (I work in wholesale and Chinese vendors). This is why the sizing is off.The clothes are of bad quality and poorly made, yet they charge designer clothes prices.Schools continue to work with Monkhouse, knowing that it overcharges parents. I look forward to the day when these scammers are investigated. I can see it coming.
Myself and my son visited Monkhouse in Stretford and we were pleasantly surprised by the great service from a girl called Libby, very helpful (more so than the other staff just stood around) We didn’t get everything we needed but we will return to get the rest.
