Review Time
I recently purchased the mRestyle 2 package and I'm very satisfied. I'm leaving this product review mainly in hopes to helping anyone thinking about purchasing any package from motionvfx. First of all, the transaction itself was extremely smooth. You do have to download their mInstaller, which is really cool and runs very smoothly. Really cool transaction overall, motionvfx deserves a lot of credit, specially for making high-level presets and plug-ins for Davinci, which are not as easy to find as other editing software program plug-ins.Now for the effects themselves, I'd have to say that the mRestyle 2 package feels more filterish than anything else. Don't get me wrong, a lot of the effects are very dynamic, so they are superior than your average filter on Davinci or Premier, but just keep that in mind.What does make this package amazing though, is you can obviously use these same filters even as transitions, and it looks top-notch. In fact, as someone who doesn't like to saturate his edits too much (I like my footage more natural) this works wonderfully. All effects are extremely customizable and very fun to use. And you can make them less aggressive on your video.I do have to warn that some of the effects can be pretty heavy on Davinci, even though the download file itself is really not too large. Some of the effects can take quite a while to load, so it requires some level of knowledge and basic understanding of video editing to use some of these tools effectively without having your editing software crash all the time. (I use an Alienware)10 out of 10.
Recently I signed up for a trial. Unfortunately, I was on the last day until I could try out CineStudio. During the day, I was having issues and simply ran out of time. 100% my fault. I asked my questions anyhow. They answered and graciously understood I had extenuating circumstances that limited my ability to really work through the issue I had. They graciously extended my trail. The customer service approach to solving my issue was good, and the plus is they were human about it to extend more time to true see if the program is a fit for me.
I've purchased templates from the MotionVFX site several times over the years. The products are great. There are all styles depending on the needs we have with the video editing we do. A big advantage of the templates sold by MotionVFX is that they include a set of animations making our video project uniform in all of its animations, such as an animation that can serve as opening credits, another animation with a background and a title that can serve as additional information, an animation of a Lowerthird and in addition there is a transition animation. In addition, I can tell you that the technical support is excellent because I made another purchase very recently and for a rare time I had difficulty with the download. Since the delivery time for the final edit was very tight, I was very stressed about this situation. So I wrote in panic mode to MotionVFX technical support via their CHAT service and via email. On the same day, I was lucky enough to receive feedback from technical support with whom I exchanged several messages via their CHAT and technical support resolved my problem. I was able to get back to my video editing with the template I had purchased from MotionVFX and everything worked wonderfully. So, don't hesitate to buy MotionVFX products. Plus, the site offers products for several editing programs, whether you're with Adobe, Final Cut, or Da Vinci.
First of all the aftersales are unmatched. I had an issue installing plugins from the app (that turned out to be a rare-case general). More than a week I was asked questions, check things, upload things and try-out a new version, which in the end solved the problem, so now I'm gonna try out. The even gave me a credit for reporting and helping out with details to solve it.(If you have had problems installing, especially not completing try out the newest version (via settings, update) or at least report your issue, they really try to solve it)
I have a lot of fun using MotionVfx plugins. It make my videos more professional at a less time. It's a bit pricey but it is worth it because I got so many clients when I show them my new Portfolio using some of the plugins in MotionVfx. I'm still waiting for some cool plugins they will make in the future.
Thank you Motion VFX for mTracker 3D and Area 3D. These two products made me $20k last year from one client. The quick response on updating these products for my M3Max-MBP 16 put my project on time in December. 😎 BobM, Premier Drone Productions.
