It was Great to begin with then everything broke down the car was not fully validated I could have done a far better job so having to pay "an extra" to have it "professionally cleaned" it was far from it The service on the day was awful the car was covered in scratches and touched up with a pen which didn't even match I really wish I never went ahead but after making the journey

Add the following hidden fees before…

Add the following hidden fees before considering their "low" prices:1. £300 admin, although admittedly this is on their website, but hard to find. Why not just include it in the price? 2. "£300 inspection and servicing fee" will be carried out over 8 days while you wait for it to be delivered for some reason.3. "£500 mandatory 1 year warranty, because it's an EV" again include this in the price if it's mandatory. And finally the car was so scratched and dented it should have been mentioned in the advert. The general staff attitude was negative too suggesting they know full well it's all con. Wasted trip.

LIES, LIES and more LIES

I've had the displeasure of buying a used battery electric car from Motor4u this May. If possible, I would give 0 stars for my experience. Unfortunately, they were the only dealer within a 100-mile radius that had the car we wanted in the trim and color we desired. If you have other options, steer clear of them. The entire sales experience was riddled with lies, deceit, ridicule, and broken promises. Honestly, the customer service we received was the worst I've ever experienced. I've bought multiple used cars from various places in different countries, and none of my experiences were as terrible as this.We scheduled a test drive for the car we wanted on a Friday before a bank holiday. Kash was our "assigned" sales rep. He greeted us, and we went out to the car. As an engineer with a hobby in electric cars, I know a lot about electric vehicles and systems. The pseudoscientific nonsense that Kash presented was just bad. If you are selling electric cars, at least learn the basics, which he apparently hadn't. I had to hold back from laughing at some of his statements. Before even starting our test drive, the lies began. I inquired why the car didn't have a valid MOT, and he claimed it wasn't required in the first three years, as the car's manufacture date was still within this period. That was lie number one. The car had been listed since September 2023, and its MOT expired in the same month. The manufacture date was September 2020, as indicated by the VIN and the 70 plate. I didn't call him out, preferring to let him dig himself deeper.During the test drive, the nonsense continued. He assumed we had never driven an electric car before, which was far from the truth. I am a big electric car enthusiast and have driven multiple electric vehicles, including a Model S Ludicrous. This car paled in comparison in terms of performance but was exactly what we needed. He repeatedly told me to get on the throttle and then criticized my driving, thinking he was funny. He covered the reversing camera when we were turning around, a feature I wanted to test. I had to call him out on it multiple times before he stopped.Back at the dealership, the lies continued. He claimed there were four people lined up to look at the car over the weekend, despite it sitting there for nine months. He boasted about their coffee, which was undrinkable. He also said they don't hold cars for more than three weeks, which was untrue.I didn't haggle on the price since it was right and the exact car we wanted. Instead, I negotiated on the delivery time. Despite his promises, the car wasn't ready by the agreed date. He had assured us it would be ready by Thursday, fully cleaned and with a 100% charge (which I paid £20 for). He also promised updates on Saturday and Tuesday, which never happened. On Tuesday afternoon, I called the dealership, and they said he was out with a customer but left a note for him to call us back. He didn't. On Wednesday, I called again, and they told me the car looked ready. Thursday morning, he asked if we could collect the car next Thursday, which was absurd. He reluctantly agreed to arrange delivery that day at 4:15. When we showed up, he stalled and lied while dealing with other customers. Finally, he argued with me about the delivery timing and told my wife I was being pushy, as if she would side with him. She called him out, reminding him he originally said the delivery might be Tuesday or Thursday at the latest. He claimed the delay was due to balancing the battery cells, another lie. Checking cell-level voltage doesn't require unbolting the battery. He couldn't provide a detailed cell-level battery report, confirming his lie. He also lied about the car's charge level. First, he said it was at 70%, then 20%, and finally, it had only 4% when I checked, barely enough to reach the nearest public charging point. He promised to reimburse us for the public charging cost, which I never received. Despite all this, he tarnished their reputation over £20.Avoid Motor4u at all costs. The lies, deceit, and poor customer service make them a dealership to steer clear of.

5* SERVICE, LOTS OF CHOICE, EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a vehicle from Motor4U, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. From the moment I stepped into the dealership, I was greeted warmly by the staff, who were genuinely interested in helping me find the right car.The sales team at Motor4U is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. They took the time to understand my needs and preferences, offering valuable insights and advice without any pressure. I appreciated their transparency throughout the entire process, providing detailed information about each vehicle's history and condition. The inventory at Motor4U is impressive, with a wide variety of cars to choose from, all in excellent condition. I found their pricing to be fair and competitive, and they were more than willing to work with me to find a financing option that suited my budget. What stood out the most was the level of customer service. The team went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and confident in my purchase. They answered all my questions patiently and provided ongoing support even after the sale was completed.Overall, my experience with Motor4U was exceptional. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone in the market for a used car. Their commitment to quality, honesty, and customer satisfaction is truly commendable. Thank you, Motor4U, for making my car-buying experience smooth and enjoyable!

Don't do business with this Car Dealer

I wish I had checked out the reviews first.Total waste of time. I rung them about a car last week and was told the car was not at their forecourt yet and I was asked to call next week. Yesterday I checked online and the car was listed as sold, but they kept sending me texts to call them. Today I decided to go there because I only live 5ml away. I saw a car I liked and asked for a px quote. The offer was so ridiculously low and I was told that they don't deal with older cars. And when I pointed out that half of the cars on the forecourt were as old and older then mine, the man didn't know quite what to say. I left disappointed with their attitude.

Not an honest company

I brought a tesla model 3 from motors 4 u start of last month, I paid a deposit over the phone for the vehicle and was told would be ready for collection after 8 days. There was a few problems with the vehicle of which I could see on the photos on the auto trader ad, these were a battery issue and condensation in the rear light. After finally getting the go ahead to collect the car I booked in the train tickets. Bearing in mind I was 210 miles away from home I wanted a defects video showing me what was on the car before collecting. The video wasn’t clear but I could see that the car was fairly straight and no major defects on there. On the video I was also reassured that the rear light would be repaired and also the battery issue was rectified, I was then told nothing further about the car I dealt with Taj throughout all of this. As far as I know it was all ready to collect so I made the journey down on the 10th of May. Insuring the car beforehand through my motor trade policy, I didn’t test drive the car and had a quick walk around of it. I realise the rear light hasn’t been repaired but was assured it was sorted just need to wait for the condensation to go, still to this day it hasn’t. I then went into the office and paid for the car in full, then soon as all the paperwork was sorted I went to drive the vehicle away, soon as I got in the car I realised a crack in the windscreen, which I haven’t been told about at all throughout the purchase of the vehicle. I was obviously very annoyed that this was the situation as if I have known this before I wouldn’t of travelled so far and brought this one if I had to purchase another windscreen. The response from Taj was ‘it was filled in and barely noticeable before and it must have gotten worse’ I understand how this could possibly be the case but there is no reason to not be honest with me especially travelling so far. I was reassured that I would be compensated to rectify this issue. I have now been chasing Taj and the service manager since the 10th to rectify this issue and no result. Also now I have a problem with the control arm on the car which has to also be replaced at my own cost. I see no point in buying from a car dealer if I am to be treated like this I would do every due diligence you possibly can with these guys because they will have you over!!

Elbows too sharp

They overbid at Motorway and then knock over 10% off when they turn up to inspect the car. Don't accept anything these people tell you
