Denmark has the most expensive public transport system in Europe and charge the highest fine when someone unintentionally forgot the ticket but yet provide the worst service. We should petition the government to change how public transport is operated. Take lesson from London, Madrid, Rome, etc. where users have to scan a card before entering the train/metro. In this way, no one can be fined for unintentionally forgot the ticket. The current system is only for the company to earn extra money from the public and should be banned.
Horrible. I had an orange ticket for the train, so I needed to take a bus to the train station. I decided to take an early bus, so I am there in good time. The first bus didn't come at all. They didn't announce it in the app. Second bus came more than 10 minutes late, again, no info on the app about the delay. Lost my orange ticket as a consequence. All I wished from them was to let people know through the app the busses will not come/be delayed. Me and others waited almost 40 mins at the bus stop.
Plain and simple, poor service. The busses are hardly ever on time, even outside rush hours. When going somewhere, you best arrive at your stop 10 minutes before it is planned to arrive, because the online travelplanner is absurdly incorrect. Sometimes, the bus will arrive several minutes early, however it is most frequently the case that it will be 5-6 minutes late.
It is amazing how poor the bus service is for a modern first-world country. Even moreso when considering that we are encouraged to use public transport instead of driving (cars being 2X to 3X as expensive as any other country after all...)And yet instead of being reliable the buses have a free will to come and go as they please. The slightest bit of rain means the next bus is 20 minutes delayed. This is especially unacceptable when one has to ensure reaching child's school before closing time,Horrible service at extortionate prices. And the worst is that there is no other option for public transport.
I was travelling to Glostrup from Herlev. The temperature was 26 degrees and requested him to open the top window of the bus. He replied very harshly as if I was asking his daughter for date. Spoke saveral racist words as I couldn’t speak in Danish. He directly went on my skin and hair color. Man I am living in 21st century and one of the best countries in the world, still racism exists here. I want to report this old driver. Please consider my review movia!!
Plastic instead of a ticket of paper. Even worst the access to your data on your phonemobile.Since 19th Januar the Pubblic transportation in Danmark forces the people to have the pass or with a plastic badge, that costs you 8 euro or through the mobile. Why? to steal more money and to check wich bus, train or metr you take and to go where. Big brother. They say to save paper, ridicolous because daily tickets are still available and because they waste a lot of paper just to advice that a zone changed from here to there. And since when the plastic is better than a recycled paper?A decision that didn't take care at all of the customers, done in one way, and full of miserable excuses to see their own app between the most used. Or sell this electronic plastic card with a fee. This rating is also valid for the other companies like Arriva, Anchersen, Metro, and who else that cover the munipality of Copenaghen and or all Danmark.
I was litterly running towards my bus (line 120), and as the driver sees me she slams the door, looks at me, shrugs her shoulders and drives a hundred meters down the road where the bus have to stop for a red light. Seriously what kind of person does that? As a consequence, I have realised that I need to buy a car in order to get away from Movia’s unreasonably rude busdrivers!!! Get it together.
