I am so thankful for this program. I had terrible aching pain in my hips and near constant low back pain/ spasms AND I looked 4-5 months pregnant :(. My core did not work at all. It was completely disconnected (baby #3 was an emergency c-section). This program works. It took some some time- probably close to a year for me (and still going!) At first I could barely sense my pelvic floor musculature to make it work. I had to focus so hard to do the exercises. But, with consistency, it worked! My core & pelvic floor work again! I can engage them easily now! My hip and low back pain completely resolved. I still have a 2 finger diastasis, but people don’t wonder if I’m pregnant anymore. Thank you, Wendy & team!
Wendy is a lifesaver! Mutu literally saved my body and life. I had a three day labor and pushed for almost 4 hours. one side of my body/hip just worked so badly that I would start to tip over every time I put weight on it. Mutu is not immediate! you have to commit to yourself and take the time every day to work on it. I took my time with the program. little steps. after six months of committed daily work, I had strength that was almost equal on both sides and I continue to do mutu 3-4 times a week 6 years later! thank yous don’t even begin to express the love!
I started using the Mutu System 12 years ago while I was pregnant. I have used it during and after my 3 pregnancies since, and it has really made a difference in my life. At the beginning, when Mutu was just starting out, Wendy personally answered my questions about how best to adjust the system for my personal needs and even sent me a complimentary dvd. She is doing such a service for women, and I feel like she was an answer to my prayers for help. She empowers women by educating them about their bodies and giving a plan to implement it. It has been so very beneficial to me. I highly recommend it!
After having tried another online workout schedule, which had a time limit and did not allow you to download the exercise videos, Mutu was the complete opposite. Not only do you have unlimited access to the website (phenomenal), but the Mutu community is always available for any assistance you might require along your journey. Not only has Mutu strengthened my core, but it’s given me confidence and I love the fact that I can always go back and exercise in my free time. That’s what I call dedication from Mutu!!!! Truly wanting to help these mamas.
Extremely good program, seemed much more trustworthy from the point of view of the science behind it than many online options. Very good explanations and holistic approach (physical and nutritional aspects for specific post partum complaints - I did it for diastasis recti).Did not have time to do it as consistently as I would have liked due to having a small baby around ;-) But it helped very much in my case.
I like the concept excercisesing every day for a short amout of time. the app and videos are nice and easy to use. but I felt worse after doing the squats and some of the exercises. so I like the every day core workout but the upbeat parrt is problomatic for postpartum women with prolapse
