Review Time
Worst excuse for a company ever. Internet outages several times a week. This last time it was out from 6pm to 1am. Get your act together. Calls to customer support, after selecting english always go to someone who can't understand english at all.
Simply Shambolic, I have been waiting over a month for someone to come and install the Fibre optic broadband and every time I contact them, they say someone will come within 48 hours. This company has no standards at all. It's just a monopoly. They have been paid but yet, they don't put their hand up to admit the terrible service and provide a refund. Criminals that give a bad reputation to the people of Egypt.
First I'm writing my review using one of the available VPN services in Egypt as they have prevented access to all known VPN services.As I'm using a VPN service to write my review so you know that they have also blocked Trustpilot beside hundreds of other websites that we can't access here.For the service itself, the internet is limited like if you're using a data plan, the infrastructure is worse than what you can ever imagine, they're cheating speed tests on Speedtest.net to get a higher rank even they are throttling the speed for all people, the prices are very high and not suitable for the individual income or per the service they offer, they're governmental so no other ISP have chance to make a real competition against them, they customer/technical support don't know fundamentals of networking so it's not easy to get your issue solved without a lot of pain, upload speed still very bad no matter you're a VDSL or FTTH user and when you complaint they tell we are a download service provider (I'm not joking ), they don't care about customers using internet for work.Why I've given them a second star, only because download speeds becomes better on the last year so we can work, before the max download was 16 Mbps but you'll never get that speed as they'll always tell your line quality is not good enough to handle this speed.I hope I change my review someday when they begin to respect their customers.
New customer to this company. I have 2 service lines of ADSL with them. Their internet service is better and cheaper than Vodafone. But I give them 4 stars becuase some of their agents are clueless when it comes to tech support. But the physical service itself is stable and works just fine. Voda service was crashing multiple times a day. I wish I would have joined We a long time ago. I would have saved thousands of pounds and hundreds of hours waisted on the phone with the other company. Also they claim to offer assistance in English but the agents force me to speak in Arabic and that's not cool. Don't offer assistance in English if you refuse to speak the language.
