I’ve been a paying customer of Telecom Egypt (WE) for home internet, but my experience has been nothing short of outrageous. Since day one of my subscription (May 16, 2025), I’ve faced severe speed throttling, getting only a fraction of the 80/25 Mbps plan I’m paying for.After repeated complaints, I was treated with disrespect and authoritarian behavior by their customer service. One manager literally told me, “we don’t negotiate or compensate”, and blamed me for their service issue. Later, when the speed was finally improved to 72 Mbps, it was cut back to 20 Mbps within hours — no explanation, no accountability.The situation reeks of intentional deception:– Is this how WE manipulates customers into upgrading?– Do they penalize users who complain?– Are customer service reps trained to intimidate rather than assist?Enough is enough. I’ve been struggling with unreliable internet from WE Telecom Egypt for over a year at my home in Heliopolis. Two months ago, I formally complained, and technicians identified a port issue (ADSL/VDSL), but nothing has been fixed despite endless follow-ups. My wife has spent countless hours on calls, only to hear repetitive excuses about ADSL/VDSL with no progress. We were asked to recharge early, did so, and were still told to recharge again unnecessarily. For the past two days, we’ve had no internet at all, leaving us completely disconnected.The lack of clear communication, especially with language barriers, and failure to resolve this ongoing issue is unacceptable. It’s caused significant stress and disruption, as we rely on the internet for work and daily needs. I’m deeply disappointed and still waiting for a solution and compensation for this terrible service. Avoid unless they improve their customer support and reliability.
unstable internet high ping stupid high prices with limited internet monthly 11/3/2025 worth of 6 USD 280 EGP a month for 140GB and stupid useless costumer service with 400 customers waiting on queue when they wanted to upgrade the infrastructures from copper to fibers fttb they also drop that on the customers own selves and they don't pay for it just the customers who will pay for that upgrade , at the end high internet prices unstable internet no customer services that is worth your time they only just repeat the same shit to you over and over and over
