NO WAY!!!I have suffered with excruciating cramps since I was about 15/16 years old, having to miss out on activities, work etc was super depressing! There was no way I would've imagined such a tiny device could work so well and now at 30 years old I'm finally pain free and it feels AMAZING! THANK YOU LIVIA!!
You will think you are getting the device half off as part of a sale and just subscribing for a one time $8 subscription when in reality you can't cancel the subscription unless you pay off the rest of original price of the device through the $8 monthly subscriptions, pay off the rest of the original price of the device in a lump sum, or return the device back to them within four months. If you want to keep the device:It is either you keep paying the monthly subscriptions or you buy out the device by paying what they say you owe them- the original price of the device minus the "discounted" price you paid and the monthly subscriptions you have paid so far. If you want to return the device: You have to return it within the first four months after purchasing it, then they will refund you the amount you originally paid on the device itself but they will not refund you for the $8 subscriptions that you couldn't unsubscribe from while you had the device. Also, even if you are paying for the subscription they won't send you the gel pads that come as part of the subscription unless you reach out and request they send them to you. My experience:When I was buying it, I thought I was paying $29, a discounted rate and then also paying for ONE $8 monthly subscription. I thought the subscription could be canceled even if you only wanted the device, but you can't cancel it unless you 1) send the device back within 4 months,2) buyout the device for what they calculate you owe them that they deducted from the normal price of the device (from where you payed the supposed "discount" amount)3) pay the $8 subscription fee until the subscriptions you have paid for plus the "discounted" price you paid matches the original price of the device (even if you thought you were just paying $29 or $39 originally for the device as well as a one time subscription as a discount promo) No where when I was buying it did I see it tell me this before I hit purchase, though they say the website says you have to make monthly payments. Either the website needs to be more clear or it is "fine print" which we might miss which is still misleading, or it didn't say it anywhere. I don't know. Update: I emailed Rosemarie on the Livia email for a buyout link three days ago so I could stop paying these subscriptions and she has not set it to me yet. Last she responded she said she needed to forward my email to management to get their approval and I haven't heard back in three days.
I’ve suffered endometriosis for 23 years and got to the point where I had to take pain meds. I got my Livia and it has made my cramps bearable- and sometimes- completely disappear. Although sometimes I have to take a Midol, I’m so grateful I don’t have to take pain meds anymore! Highly recommend!!!
I bought two for my daughters cause they were $100 off so I bought two making it $58 then I had the option to add a subscription for pads and what not well my daughters don’t use that often so they had pads. So I wanted to cancel subscription, been trying to cancel for 4 months but this lady Rosemarie keeps telling me I don’t own the devices so I can’t cancel we’ll guess what I do own them cause there was no fine print saying that I had to keep the subscription when it was optional in the beginning!! I had to cancel my card and they are still trying to charge me!!
Do not purchase. Awful customer support. Will f you over in fine print. Nothing is refundable and you are required to pay back all discounts in a monthly payment. The device breaks after one or two uses and barely works. 130 dollars down the drain and customer support will laugh at you.
I have submitted a cancellation for over a week, and there is a customer service representative named Rosemarie who refuses to process it because I said that I would want to pursue a refund. She is actually playing games and will not process it, I've cancelled over a year ago and they refuse to stop taking the $8 out of my account. I'm shocked at horrible this company is?!
While the device is fine the subscription is weird. You pay the monthly subscription but don’t automatically receive the pads, you have to actively request them. This was not made clear at purchase and is quite inconvenient- the reason I like subscription based stuff is because I don’t have to remember to order. They claim they do it this way because people might move and then not receive the gel pads. I’m past the date where I can return the product and cancel the subscription so I guess I’m stuck paying each month for stuff that they won’t send me and I may or may not remember to request. Overall, not worth the hassle to me and will be canceling as soon as my required year is up.
