The dishwasher hadn't washed up for a while, unhappy wife, unhappy me, I had to do it. I reluctantly rang NAC thinking they are likely to say "new one needed". The lady who answered made it very clear of the cost, the process etc and booked us in with an engineer that suited our convenience. I was texted the night before our appointment to confirm that the appointment was still convenient for us. The guy arrived on time, made a fuss of our dogs, did all the the tests, diagnosed the fault and sorted what he could there and then and returned and fitted new parts as needed a couple of days later. He dealt with payment which was as per quote and included VAT (not an add on). Result, everybody happy, with sparkling glasses and dishes.
The Engineer advised gas escaping and this could be topped up but no guarantees.Decided not to do and resigned to buying a replacement (approx £4,500)Rand Lebherr to enquire about a replacement and they referred us to a specialist engineer.He said it would not be gas escaping and advised to turn off and defrost.There was ice buildup at back of freezerAfter 24 hours we reset freezer and once it reached -19 the wine cooler started cooling to 5 and 11So far it is now working perfectly
