Service repair completed on my neff…

Service repair completed on my neff hob, Blair diagnosed the fault, ordered the parts and repaired my hob. He arrived on time, communicated well when waiting for delivery and my hob is in full working order. I recommend Blair care for your appliance repairs.

I strongly advise you not to use this firm.

I strongly advise you not to use this firm. I have left this review a few weeks for me to cool down. My Miele washing machine stopped working and I called NAC to arrange a visit. According to their advert they offer a same or next day service yet I had 5 visits (+ one cancelled by them and re-scheduled) each nearly a week apart. I suspect that this is because the engineer is over-stretched and required parts are not on the shelf but have to be ordered (maybe from abroad?). I had 5 visits the first to diagnose the problem as a failed part A; followed by a visit to fit a new part A (still did not work so assumed part B was the problem); new part B ordered followed by a visit to fit it (still did not work so decided the NEW part A must have been defective); 2nd new part A ordered followed by a visit to fit it; this did not entirely work as part of the cycle would not work due to another defective part which prevented electrical interference for surrounding properties (this had not been a problem before so may have been caused by work done during the visits. During this I had had to pay unecessarily for a new part B (happily the old one was still in the engineer's van and could be re-fitted). Therefore, NAC owed me £354 refund which it took me 4 weeks to get back. I suspect that they returned the part and got a refund from Miele before refunding me. And remember I had no working washing machine for 4+ weeks during which I used £ time and petrol using friends facilities and launderettes. My complaints were all met by bland (AI?) responses. I also had trouble getting NAC on the telephone. My letter of 25th Sept. to the Acting Director received no acknowledgment or reply which is pretty disgraceful. I asked why their engineers did not carry spares in their vans and reasonably they said that with so many manufacturers this was not possible but I responded that they know in advance the make & model of the washing machine before visiting so it should be possible to bring appropriate parts (there are not that many in a washing machine).Suggestions to NAC you take £ promptly in advance so refund £ quickly. Don't overpromise in your adverts. Explain that you have to acquire parts and don't have them in stock and thus there will be a delay before they are fitted. When I have my car repaired parts are in normally in stock or arrive same day. Also, I am offered a replacement car so could you provide a replacement washing machine when there is a delay?A good point: they eventually repaired the washing machine.
