I purchased earrings from Novica. They are even prettier than the picture on the Novica site. The quality is excellent. Using the links sent by Novica, I was able to track the package and know exactly when it would arrive. I liked that I didn't have to guess at the arrival or worry if it would arrive. I love that I was able to treat myself and help a talented artist in India.
Wonderful products and awesome customer service! They have beautiful clothing and jewlery; I've purchased many things for my wife from them. They also have incredibly helpful customer service. For example, I received two items of clothing for my wife and didn't get around to giving them to her for several months. They turned out to be too large (my fault) and I figured it was too late to exchange them. However, I called and they were incredibly helpful and worked with me to exchange them for the correct sizes. I will most definitely continue to shop with them.
The Magic Portal sterling silver ring, by Eka Devi, Indonesia, is extraordinary. I fought with myself for a year over purchasing Magic Portal. I finally gave in. It was on back order---8 weeks--- but so worth the wait. The silverwork is delicate and lovely. The moonstone is clear and sparkling, the design is appealing. The overall effect is beautiful. I plan to enjoy this gorgeous piece for many years into the future. Thank you, Ms. Devi!
My wife wanted some earrings from Novica that were $44. I happened to do a reverse search for them and found the exact some ones on Aliexpress for $2. I reverse searched another pair that were $80 on Novica and they were 99 cents on Aliexpress. They even used the same photos on both sites.
I have ordered several items through Novica over the past few years. I tend to favor the Bali items. I've purchased bracelets, necklaces, wood carvings and other items. I have loved every piece and have never had a negative experience with shipping or the purchases
I LOVE the Undiscovered boxes! Whether I customize my box or they choose for me, the items are always well-crafted, interesting, beautiful and unique. I get the boxes quarterly and then use the items for birthday and Christmas gifts. I have always received good value for the money and the description cards of each item and artisan is a wonderfully personal touch. The delivery is also beautifully wrapped every time. I HIGHLY recommend Novica and the Undiscovered Artisan Box subscription!
Novica has the WORST Customer Service and have technical Issues each time. For an Airmiles points bonus, the coupon had an error message and I missed points each time. Airmiles would not help as your issue. They can’t make up for a lot of Airmiles missing. They never care/helped. Never responded to my urgent calls/email to fix things. One gift was 5 months before the date, but arrived MONTHS LATE for her October birthday. She had no gift for her birthday. That ruined it for both of us. No help with sales/online coupons not working. One item took ONE YEAR due to too many problems using their Credits/Coupons. Very limited time for Managers working to fix problems. Make Managers competent and more available. It also took two weeks for urgent email to be responded to. A few had low quality problems, like not even close to the photo and not good and ignored for refunds/returns.Work from home employees were awful. Did not understand - asked for a manager every time I called. I also sent a Facebook message requesting that Manager to fix the problems. No response.Now last order ever! Told me most are shipped from USA warehouse. I LOVE elephants, so I bought four wooden elephants for Christmas. It was NOT their USA warehouse was AFRICA, so it was months to arrive. Calls/email asking why it was taking so long and arrived late January, my tree has only elephants, so I was upset none from you. Were not at all like photos - all looked black and from “ebony”, wood, so it is usually black. They were TINY and too small for my tree, but three were medium brown. One was darker, but still not dark like your photos. Never had them out because I planned to return them. I despise brown and my home is white and very modern, so they looked ugly. I emailed/called for return them and no response, then was told was too late to return - not my fault staff did not process the return. I updated them, as one cracked (perhaps 2 need to look in box). Of course - Africa to dry Canada, a TINY wood item would not survive. A waste of money. Was too mad to phone/email AGAIN, as never resolved problems and they ignored my Facebook complaint too. Now, it has been a few years and I get mad looking at the box on my desk and that you never respond, so YOU made me miss my return deadline - was not my fault.Be very careful and know it is high-risk at Novica. Was great prices and now are 4+x higher with a Recession and way too many email, but I loved them for gifts. Not worth it. I just deleted about 50 email from them.*Won't let me put the estimated date.Thank you for your response, but you neglected to READ they don't respond to email, or phone messages. I spent a long time writing this and the purchase was not a lot of money, so I am done with wasting my time. Please resolve it here. YOU can copy/paste it to an email, as I can.
