I signed up for a 30-day free trial of the Business Select Program and was told I could cancel during that period without a fee. I went to the website and cancelled a week or so later, but was still charged $49.99 at the end of the 30 days. I called the phone number on the emailed receipt and was put on hold for 32 minutes, then told by a recording to enter a "mailbox number". When I couldn't enter one, the line was disconnected. I found a different phone number online and have now been on the line for 43 minutes trying to get this resolved. This seems to be a SCAM. By purposely making it this difficult to cancel, people give up and Office Depot/Office Max keeps the money. Stay away from this program and this company!
I ordered next day delivery. Not only did the delivery not come, but I didn't receive notice of the delay. I checked online and my order was going to arrive in a week. I contacted the help center and explained the problem. They promised the order would be expedited and arrive by Monday, 3/18/24. It did not. Again I didn't receive any notification. The order finally arrived but I will not be using Office Depot again.
We purchased a 2 drawer metal file cabinet for $259 online & picked it up curbside 2 days ago at your Gainesville, FL store. When we got it home, we took the packaging off (cardboard top & sides with plastic wrap all over it - not a box). We found the file cabinet was damaged & the drawers wouldn’t open. We finally got the bottom drawer opened but then it didn’t want to close. In other words, it’s not made well at all. We tried to return it today & because we don’t have the cardboard pieces & plastic wrap it was wrapped in, they’re telling us we can’t return it!😡. Is this what Office Depot calls good customer service?! I have the original paperwork & it’s only been 2 days since I purchased it & they won’t let me return it! I will be calling the corporate office to talk to someone regarding this, I will never purchase another item from Office Depot.
I ordered a Prop 65 item and wasn't told until it was going to be delivered. I've been waiting on the line for 50 minutes to stop the delivery. I'm a senior and I don't want to have to return this item. So unprofessional. I will NEVER order from Office Depot again
Received my invitation order with NO envelopes. Online order for printing all screwed up. Can't accept coupons due to they signed me up for a SCAM program that I did not apply for. Unable to order in person. Same day delivery items are noted as 5 additional days for pickup when asked for payment info. Store manager in Palm Beach Gardens, FL not able to help and blames backlog and their computer system.
Received a "Thank You For Signing Up" email for Office Depot's "Business Select" program. Folks this is a SCAM. Do not "sign into [your account or call ...]. Instead, file a consumer complaint with the FTC as well as here on Trustpilot. Do not email them. Do not accept calls. Let's shut this down. Important: If you have ever ordered anything from them using your credit card contact the issuing bank now to put them on alert. Time is of the essence. Do not play games with this outfit. Put them out with the trash A.S.A.P.Update: Just received a new email from this outfit. "Dear Valued Office Depot Customer,You may have inadvertently received an email in the last 24 hours indicating you started a free trial membership in the Office Depot OfficeMax Business Select program. The email was sent in error, and we apologize for any inconvenience or confusion it caused. We want to assure you that if you did not actively enroll in Business Select, you are not enrolled in the program, nor will you be charged an enrollment fee. We value your business and are committed to ensuring a better experience in the future. Thank you for your understanding."Note: To ensure you are not targeted by this company going forward file a complaint with the AG in Boca Raton, Florida and with the AG in your state. Provide original complaint and the company's new email.Office Depot merged with Office Max. If you've done business in the past you're in their database and you have an assigned "Account ID Number."
On 18-Jan-24 purchased a glass floor mat ordered in store. Charged $79.99 delivery. Later checked charge on line it was $29.99. Delivery was scheduled for Jan. 30th. Now Feb. 2nd. and still waiting. Never again will I purchase anything from Office Depot
Terrible customer service gentleman at printing counter was rude. When I stated he was being rude. He started telling me I was rude for telling him he had very bad customers service skills. Left store will not return thank you Danl Hollingsworth
Would give a zero if I could. Office Depot have been awful to work with, internal processes are complicated and messy, they haven't been able to get their invoicing system right and the whole thing feels scammy and terrible. Would NOT recommend using this company to fulfil orders of any kind.
