Review Time
Order placed for same day delivery before 11am. Store website stated the order would arrive between 2 and 3pm today. It did not arrive. Customer service was unable to tell me where the order was and stated it was shipped so they could not cancel the order. It was supposed to be delivered by Uber. Now delivery date is 5 days away per Uber delivery text. Website still shows same day delivery. Customer service still did not have the ability to give clear answers about the delay or where my order is. For a $600 purchase in this day and age it does not make sense that there is inconsistent information and no tracking ability for the customer or customer service.
Item was advertised with 3-5 day delivery with 12 in-stock. Ordered item 2 weeks ago and it still has not shipped because of "out of stock". However, if i go to buy it again, it says 3-5 day delivery with 12 available. opened a trouble ticket a week ago, only to be told it's on back-order. Yet, the web site still says 3-5 day delivery with 12 available.
Lied about delivery time, which continued for a week. Finally today they told me it had been delivered, just couldn't tell me where it had been delivered. Requested refund, not to worry, I'll never darken your doorway again.
I had a $45 digital gift card and tried to place an online order. There was a $5 and change difference. I got a confirmation email with this listed. I then got a notice that my credit card was charged the full amount. I called customer service and was assured it would come off when the gift card was applied. THEN my credit card showed 2 pending transactions, one for the $5 one for the full amount. I got a notice it was backordered so I just went ahead and cancelled it. My credit card pending charge disappeared but they took the gift card balance. It is now $0. I have been on several phone lines, multiple texts, multiple chats from multiple sources, transfers etc for HOURS and for multiple days. I am even getting cut off repeatedly and having to re explain this every time. They all insist it is showing it all went to my credit card. I honestly think they tried to charge me twice but regardless, I have gotten the biggest runaround on the planet with everyone insisting it didn't happen.Even when I call the gift card line I can pull it up on my transaction history, the transaction is $45 on that day for Office Depot and it is their own gift card only. I do not know why they cannot look this up. The gift card hotline just says "cannot be completed" when I ask for a human, I've tried it for three days now.As of right now, I still haven't gotten anyone to admit much less fix this issue.
I really have to do a review today. I needed a shipping label printed, and the customer service rep Tabetha was awesome, she had the best Customer Service that l have encountered in a long time. I wanted to let her Manager know that she deserves a raise.l will definitely go back again. Cathy
I used to shop at Office Depot often, but in the past few years, it’s decreased simply because the prices are not competitive anymore, but I still went there occasionally for convenience. However, they will never see me in there again after what I heard happened with Charlie Kirk. I don’t know what’s wrong with these people, but that was horrible. They won’t see me again. They may as well shut down. I don’t think anyone will have anything to do with them now.
Let’s be clear—this wasn’t obscene, illegal, or dangerous material. It was an image tied to free expression and ideas, the very foundation of what America is built upon. When a business starts labeling a customer’s content as “propaganda,” it stops being about printing services and starts being about thought control. If businesses pick and choose what ideas are “acceptable,” then they’re no longer serving the public—they’re policing speech. That’s not neutrality, that’s bias.Imagine if the Founding Fathers had been told their pamphlets were “propaganda.” Imagine if abolitionists or suffragettes had been silenced because their message made someone uncomfortable. History proves that suppressing ideas never leads to truth—it leads to conformity and decline.Office Depot should stick to printing, not policing. Customers come for services, not lectures. If a business refuses to provide basic services based on political or ideological grounds, then it has abandoned fairness and joined the ranks of selective censorship. That’s not just bad business, it’s un-American.
