THEY LIE! delivery resulted in spilled paint on my driveway. After long "battle", OD agreed to give me a full refund and told me I would have to deal with UPS on the driveway damage. UPS refused to help because I could not provide video proof that their driver did the damage. Then, OD decided to reverse the credit refund on me. WHen I called, they claimed that it was UPS responsibility, not theirs. Stay away from this lying two-faced chain.
Their new policy of emailing docs to be printed for pickup or delivery STINKS! It was so much easier to simply email the docs and pick them up within a hour. I made several attempts to email very important color docs only to find that portions of the docs were missing went I went to pick them up. Would like to hear from management as to why this drastic change.
I went into your Martinsburg, WV store on 2/27/2022 wanting to purchase a scanner that your website listed as "in stock" at this location. While there were demo units on the shelf, there were no apparent units in stock on the shelves.I searched surrounding shelves for the product and when I could not find it, I approached three sales associates lounging on office furniture demos and asked for some assistance.I showed an associate the unit I was interested in and asked her to see if they had one in back. She scanned the SKU and told me there were none in stock. I told her the website said there were units ready to pick up today. She replied that the website was wrong and that I would be better off ordering online or going to the local Bestbuy! Thanks for the honesty, I won't bother going to that store again.
The code "Chopsticks" sent by mail on the office depot magazine to get a free set of 4 noodle bowls and chopsticks doesn't work even though the code will expire on 02/28/22 and the products are available (8671837). I called the customer service line at 1 (800) 463-3768, but they didn't know how to fix this. Also called a local store and they didn't know how to fix it. Also visited a local store and they couldn't help. This has never happened before. Oh!Also, the sugar free french vanilla on a set of 4 coffee creamers purchase on 1/17/22 with expiration date July 2022 is spoiled. The local store couldn't assited in person, customer service over the phone could assisted, local store over the phone couldn't assist. They only said "sorry!!!No, I am the one feeling sorry wasting my time!I don't like giving bad reviews, but at this time customer service earned it. This is only for the already mentioned issues because Office Depot has been great a 99% of the time.
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME IN OFFICE DEPOT. The Office Depot in Covington Louisiana promised us that their in house computer would be suitable for our new business cards, stationary, etc. They did perform good last year for stationary orders. But, they have lost their best computer people. We spent over an hour on two visits attempting to create designs on their NEW SYSTEM. ( IT IS A JOKE! ) Then it would not print, would not load into a flashdrive, would not enable any useful design work, printed, or downloaded, or do anything!! And their employee was CLUELESS AS FOR AS HOW TO CORRECT THINGS! We lost valuable time and understand why there were almost ZERO CUSTOMERS IN THEIR LOUISIANA STORE!
Ordered a printer cartridge at 10:49am today from the Glen Carbon, IL store. The website says that pickup orders will be available within 20 minutes. I went to pick up the cartridge an hour later. Pulled up to the curb and called into the store. The phone rang for over 5 minutes all the while I was watching people try to get into a locked store. I called the corporate office to inquire as to whether the store was open or not. I was told that the representative tried to contact the store and the manager but was unsuccessful. She suggested that I cancel my order which I did. If the store is not going to be open, they should not accept online pickup orders!
I bought TurboTax online for download and it seems that you have to wait a couple of days to be able to download it. I called 4 times already and still waiting. I do not recommend purchasing software for download from this company.
