I meticulously absorbed every video they had to offer and conducted thorough searches on both Reddit and Google.Ultimately, my discerning choice led me to opt for Oliver Cabell, primarily because of their prestigious Italian craftsmanship and their commitment to utilizing exceptionally high-quality leather. Upon placing my order, I eagerly awaited its arrival, which was projected for four days post-order placement. With excitement building, I took to Google once more to revisit the details of my purchase, only to stumble upon disconcerting reviews highlighting issues with delivery and unresponsive customer service.On a daily basis, I found myself checking the status of my order, and at last, the status indicated delivery. However, upon returning home, I discovered my package was nowhere to be found. Initiating contact with Oliver Cabell's customer service, I was informed that I would need to exercise patience for approximately two weeks before they could address my concern. To my relief, following the stipulated time frame, the assistance I received from their customer service was incredibly effective in resolving the matter.Now, let me express my unequivocal admiration for these shoes. Admittedly, the initial wear was slightly challenging; I embarked on a ten-hour-long venture wearing them continuously. This journey included exhaustive shopping and prolonged periods of standing. Since that inaugural day, these shoes have transformed into a haven of comfort, exceeding my expectations. I am wholeheartedly enamored by this footwear and find myself consistently reaching for them. It's safe to say that I'm already contemplating my next purchase from Oliver Cabell.In closing, I extend my heartfelt gratitude. I want to emphasize that I reside in the United States, in case that detail is of assistance.

I wish I had read reviews on this web site before I ordered. I currently have two items pending from Oliver Cabell. One order dating back to early July and one from mid August. Neither order has arrived. Shame on me for placing a second order before the first arrived! Customer service is a joke, and the fact that I need to contact then in the age of overnight deliveries for a “premium” produce speaks volumes. No matter what the shoes quality is and how much you like the design, it’s only good if you actually get the produce in a timely fashion.Gorden (barefoot) Starkey

I received a defective pair of shoes with no refund (UPDATE INCLUDES REPLY TO THEIR REPLY)

I received a defective pair of shoes. I sent photos to the 'customer service' team and they simply refused to accept it was defective and process a refund. The customer service is absolutely terrible, worst service, product and outcome from any online business I have had.If you have any issues with this company (which I can see many do from the terrible reviews), submit a complaint to the North Dakota attorney general, as these are laws they are governed by.Here is the link (provided in three sections as trust pilot does not allow links):https://attorney general.nd.gov/consumer-resources/general-complaint/REPLY TO THEIR REPLY:A template sorry response, from the pathetic customer service team. THE WORST, NEVER AGAIN…

The worst online clothing / shoe retailer I have ever experienced. Shoe sizes were incorrect & falsely advertised. Delivery was slow. Shoes were way overpriced for what they were. You ask for a return fee waiver seeing the shoe sizes were false. Staff twist your arm into an exchange instead of a return without being transparent about large fees. They require a phone number for delivery, but together with DHL they fail to deliver without contacting you at all, blame you & again charge large fees. You have to follow up to see where the shoes are. The shoes that actually arrive are ugly with no arch support. Staff correspondence never directly answers your question/s. Staff take days or weeks to respond & fail to waive fees for shoes & deliveries that were entirely their errors. If you want to experience 6 months of pain & flush a chunk of cash down the toilet, buy this overpriced brand. My rating is zero, this brand sucks.

I am waiting for an order to arrive, I have not been sent any official order confirmation, my bank account has been charged for more than the price was indicated at the checkout, I have very little doubt I have been scammed. Never purchase anything from this company, they are crooks. My order is placed under the name Brad.Mills, my address has been provided, I was billed 178.43 on 28/6/23.

Unethical Business Practices

I ordered from this website almost 2 months ago and still have not received my product. Initially after waiting for a month, I reached out to customer service only to find out the shoes I ordered would not be shipped due to production issues, when asked if I would like to wait until they came back in stock or received a different pair I asked for a refund which came with no response. So I waited a couple of weeks only to find out they would not be restocking the shoes I ordered and said they could ship me something else. I once again asked for a refund and once again no response. I started a dispute on the purchase with the credit card company and will be reporting this to the BBB. Do not order from this company.

Terrible shoes and a deliberate strategy of not paying refunds. Avoid!

Having long admired the look of these shoes via advertisements on Instagram, I decided to buy a pair at the end of April 2023. As others have noted, I found that the shoes are poorly designed and made of leather, so tough the shoes do not bend as you walk, rendering them unwearable.I immediately returned the shoes despite Oliver Cabell's excessive handling charge (US$75) and the international parcel delivery fee of (AUD$60). The return parcel was signed for at Oliver Cabell's US warehouse on May 11, 2023. Given my recent experience with all other online retailers, I assumed I would automatically receive a refund.Upon checking my June credit card statement, I noticed I hadn't received a refund. I assumed this was an oversight. However, now I believe this is a deliberate strategy by OC to avoid or delay the payment of refunds — the longer the money is in their account, the better for them. I contacted them on July 16, asking them to check why I hadn't received a refund. They came back asking for a tracking number, a photograph of the return receipt, a photo of the return address label, and proof of the weight of the package. Fortunately for me, I had kept this material and was immediately able to provide evidence of all three to OC. (However, I can imagine many people would not keep this sort of material, which would allow OC to refuse a refund).I would not be writing this review if I had not received this email message from OC today in response to my providing them with all of the requested evidence.Dear DavidOur system does not show that it has been received, although the tracking shows otherwise. This may be the case for a variety of reasons, but they're most likely still in the final stages of processing. But don't worry, I have requested a full sweep to locate your returned items. Once we get confirmation that they received it in good condition. We'll also be able to process your refund before then. This may take a couple of days but no worries as I will be keeping an eye on this for you. If you won't hear anything from me by late next week, please contact us back so I can follow up.Kind regards, JoshI believe this delaying strategy is not a one-off bug but a feature of OC's business model. I can see that other people on TrustPilot have had the same experience. I fully expect them to tell me in their next email that they have found the shoes, but they are damaged in some way, which means they cannot provide me with a refund. There is a 120-day deadline for being able to apply a chargeback on my credit card for legitimate claims about non-payment of refunds. I intend to start this process today and advise others to do the same rather than experience the same delaying tactics. MESSAGE TO OCPlease don't post your standard message that says, "I have shared this with our management to check if there's still something we can improve on our sizing and the build of the shoes. While we hate to see unhappy customers, we certainly welcome the opportunity to learn and be better."And please don't post this message either, "I wanted to let you know that we are truly sorry for the experience you had. This is definitely not the kind of service we want to offer to our customers, and we understand how frustrating it must have been for you. But upon checking your order, I can also confirm that the refund has been successfully processed. It should be reflected now on your account.

Shoe doesn’t fit, no return. Horrible Experience!

Very simple story: bought the shoe and wore it for a day. Barely used condition. Shoe did not feel comfortable in the front after a few hours, gave me a blister due to shoe being too narrow in front as others have reported. Unable to wear shoe going forward.Reached out to customer service, got someone named ‘Joshua’ who asked me to upload photos of shoe to show condition. After sending, told me don’t bother returning as they will be denied as they are not ‘pristine’. Offered no other support and left me really dissatisfied. Now I’m stuck with $250 shoe that I can’t wear and are brand new. You may as well advertise: no returns under any circumstances. That is the actual policy and anything else is misleading.I find it ridiculous a luxury shoe brand charging over $250 would not consider an exchange in such situation. Your customer service team has no consideration for the customer. Joshua even had the audacity to write me, “it is imperative for us to maintain the quality of our products and ensure customer satisfaction by only offering items in pristine condition” therefore he won’t accept a barely used shoe return. Are you seriously going to tell me how important it is for the next customer who gets my returned shoe that it has to be pristine quality? What about the actual customer in question (ie me) who paid money and can’t use your product? Did it ever occur to you to figure out how to deal with returns responsibly as a shoe company as it’s part of doing business and not put it on your customers? I hope to never hear about the brand ‘Oliver Cabell’ again. Maybe it’s just Joshua but he ruined your brands reputation for me given this experience. Don’t bother writing back to this review unless it’s a complete reversal of what Joshua stated actually exchange the shoe.

Jazmin on the support team was amazing! When I first received my order the size was a bit snug. I reached out to exchange for a larger size and she was quick to reply, positive and professional. She made the exchange quick and easy which I really appreciate!
