Slight misunderstanding over warranty cover.

OnePlus were originally stating that I could not have my phone repaired under warranty in the UK as it was purchased in another country. That stance has now been changed, perhaps due to incorrect customer support advice. My phone was returned to OnePlus, repaired and sent back to me free of charge. I'm once again a very happy OnePlus customer.

Don't waste your hard earned money

Don't waste your hard earned money. They have the worst after sale service. My one plus nord 2 screen broke within 1 month of purchase. And after submitting it for repair it has been 1 month anf I am still waiting for my phone to be delivered back to me. When I call the customer care and they are not able to give me the present status of my phone repair I ask them to transfer the call to some person in authority they totally reject my request and everyday tell me that the phone will be delivered today. I have been waiting for 1 month now. Just don't go for it.

UPDATE*OnePlus has the audacity to reply with a cut and paste answer. Outrageous!Their customer service should be removed from servicing the US. We pay a good amount and deserve much better than a bunch of rude, inefficient and incompetent people that don't even know what they're saying ... 🤬DON'T BUY ONEPLUS EVER! The phone was perfect with Android 10. With the update all hell broke loose: It gets super hot almost to burn, apps don't work, unreliable signal, data and wifi, gallery takes forever to load, touchscreen slow to react and ghost touches. Then you try tech support and aside for either nos speaking or writing in your language (USA-English) they asked the same thing over and over and over ... Just to give the same "non-working solution". Also they want you to pay for their mistakes and don't give a rat's behind for your time. Yoyo 5 hours with a bunch of incompetent and rude people for days. No idea what happened with such a great phone .. Now I have s $$$ohkbe that doesn't work. Welcome iPhone!

Sent defective phone and took a week to replace it. No compensation from OnePlus after I spent £450 with them. The Nord CE is a good phone now working. The £70 buds are rubbish. Twitter customer support is a joke.

OnePlus is the worst when it comes to any support. They are only good at 2 things. 1.Making excuses. 2nd, Not given any support. Believe me I have tried every time I tired.Tech issues. account issues or software help for their updates.the same outcome. A nightmare, dealing with them, never did get resolved. I own 4 of there devices. But it's a big whopping waste of time the biggest failure to even try getting any real support from this company. And don't ever have oneplus account issues they will turn a deaf ear. The major Problem with them. They refuse to even correct any errors cause on the OnePlus account. Mine, wrong contact info. with my mobile oneplus number on my account which belongs to someone else. And again no support help.

I bought oneplus 7T ( from John Lewis)12 months ago and it stopped receiving calls, the screen just goes black and start buzzing and after a few mins it will turn off or not even ringing or showing the incoming call. Same happening when someone calls me on messenger. Since I bought it from John Lewis who would send it to Oneplus repair centre in Kent.I already brought the phone back 3 times with same problem when decided I would contact with Oneplus and see if they can help. The guy was extremely rude and not helpful at all. I would not recommend to buy OnePlus!! I am just waiting for John Lewis to step in and maybe sort out this problem for me.
