Review Time
I am extremely disappointed with OnePlus India service handling. My OnePlus 9R developed vertical display lines. At the authorized service centre (QDIGI Kalyan), staff accused me of using a duplicate display without proof. Later the claim was rejected citing “Liquid Ingress,” but no internal inspection photos or LCI evidence were shown.
The phone has never been opened or repaired. It works perfectly except for display lines. This kind of false allegation and non-transparent warranty rejection damages customer trust.
I request OnePlus India to conduct a fair re-inspection and maintain service integrity.
Very helpful customer service. I ordered an item which I didn't need, my mistake and they were very understanding and followed up by emails until the situation was resolved. My family and I all have OnePlus phones and tablets and work perfectly. Maybe they are improving after some poor reviews.
They're in business with mondo affari an italian business running a trade in scam for oneplus's UK customers (I don't know if it's the same for other countries). They're not giving a fair price for the phone and then trying to charge you to have it sent back.
Don't fall for this like I did.
ONEPLUS WATCHES. BEWARE.
Read This Before You Buy.
1. The OnePlus Watch 2 comes with 32GB of storage BUT there is no way on their OHealth app to load your own MP3 music files onto the watch. You can only download music from subscription services such as Spotify etc.
2. You can only connect one Oneplus watch at a time to their app. If you want to pair another you have to factory reset the other watch before being able to connect the other watch. UNBELIEVABLE !!!!! How stupid is this.
I will be returning my purchase immediately.
Bought a tablet, was given a quote for a trade-in, sounded good. Tablet ships, then I get an email cancelling my trade-in saying they can't ship from my location. I tell them they have no problem shipping *to* my location so the mail works both ways. Customer service goes silent. I receive my tablet and immediately request a return mailing label, and get one. I ship the tablet back (via FedEx) and tell them to refund me immediately. No answer for 4 days. We'll see what happens when they actually receive my tablet back.
Up until there was a problem the customer service responded within 24 hours. Now that there is a problem (and they have my money) nothing.
I reached out to the support team regarding my recent purchase, but the interaction has been quite disappointing. After not receiving a confirmation email for my order, I attempted to get assistance. However, the representative kept asking for details that I didn’t have, and despite providing my information, they claimed there was no record of my order. This led to confusion, especially since I could see the charge on my bank statement. I felt unheard and frustrated as I was repeatedly advised to check with my bank rather than receiving any concrete help. This experience has left me questioning the reliability of the service.
I placed an order on December 4th for Christmas gifts, and now it's the 25th. I'm writing this because I never received my order, and the tracking shows it was returned to sender. After reporting this issue on the 16th, there were 9 days to fix it before Christmas. Yet, I was told yesterday to wait because my item is still in transit and there's a delay, which seems untrue. Proceed with caution.
I would rate 0 stars if that was an option. I've been a dedicated customer for years, owning multiple models. I also have accessories that were gifts. After encountering significant issues with the accessories, I reached out to the service team, only to find out they won't honor the warranty unless the product was purchased directly from their website. Other major brands don't operate this way. Their customer support is virtually non-existent; they ignore inquiries. On their forums, expressing dissatisfaction is forbidden, as a group of young moderators delete posts and ban users for any criticism. They have decent products, but if you buy from anywhere other than their official site, you risk being completely disregarded when problems arise.
I've always been a loyal fan of the brand until purchasing their latest flagship. The device itself is impressive, despite some quirky bugs. My main concern is the questionable trade-in process they have. They provide a value for a device, but once it's sent, they invent reasons to reduce the offered price drastically, sometimes to as little as 1 to 5 dollars. For instance, I sent them an iPhone 13 in perfect condition, yet they claimed it had screen burn-in and a defective battery. It’s ironic because I had just used the phone hours before sending it and it was functioning perfectly. I can dispute this, but the real issue is that the company advertised a guaranteed 150 dollars for any device, in addition to the device's value. In this case, that value was 108 dollars, which isn’t substantial, but with the guaranteed amount, it seemed like a decent deal. Now, they are offering me just 5 dollars, and if I refuse, I risk losing the guaranteed 150 dollars off the device's price. This pressure tactic puts customers in a position where they feel compelled to accept a loss to save a bit. I find this approach misleading and detrimental to consumers. If the company responds and resolves my issue, I would reconsider my stance, but right now, my trust in them is at an all-time low.
I used to be a big fan, but after purchasing their latest flagship, my experience changed. The device is impressive, but the trade-in process feels like a scam. They promise a certain value for your old device, but once received, they claim arbitrary reasons to reduce the offer to a mere fraction of what was promised. I sent a perfectly functional device only to be told it had issues. They lure you in with a guaranteed trade-in value, but if you dispute their findings, you risk losing that guarantee. This misleading practice is extremely frustrating and feels anti-consumer. Unless they rectify this, my trust in this company is severely shaken.
