I have been teased too many times. On occasions Oneplus has great offers. Black Friday was one of those occasions. They had a great one I tried to take advantage of but was another failed attempt. I'm feeling like it may be my last try. It gets to frustrating to deal with. I have failed every time about 10 different occasions in a row now. This last one was not nice at all. Two times it seemed I had the deal in my cart but both times when I went to my cart to check-out there is nothing there. Finally the product page says 'out of stock.' On every other occasion there was a similar issue (glitch) of some sort. Each time I'm left scratching my head and frustrated. Oneplus needs to find a better way to handle the online rush for their flash sales. I understand you can't always get all the deals you want but with the Oneplus online store seems like failed deals is the only option. At least in my case. The experience also got me wondering about their general sales tactics on multiple levels. I have been in their ecosystem since the Oneplus 6T (owned 2 of them) with upgrades to the 7pro then 9pro all of which I have had great experiences with. I've had the original Oneplus buds. Unfortunately a sub par experience. I like most of their hardware obviously but the shopping and customer service experience (on another issue) could improve.
AWFUL phone AWFUL customer service. Don't give in to it's price or any news headlines. I bought the one plus 8T a year ago. Since then, I've had mobile data cut out randomly, I've had screen randomly freezing or spazzing out. I have had lockscreen not offer fingerprint or code so no way of accessing device and so much more. It randomly logs me out of apps so I have to remember my password each time. BUT....THE WORST THING... My data cut out for 2 and a half weeks. I changed providers twice! Costing me a total of £223.88. I blamed Three, Virgin and now Sky for not providing me service and internet not realizing it's ONE PLUS who has bugs in all their software updates. I haven't been able to use any form of internet on this phone and as a social media manager this is HORRENDOUS. I searched forums and realized every single person is having an issue with their one plus. I have complained to them several times and apparently the only option is to wipe the entire phone and start again. You kidding me? I have passwords, memories and so much more. Not only that the HOURS it will take me to back up all this stuff just for a "CHANCE" it might work?!?!?! I had to fork out to get a phone urgently. My sims and data works in other phones just not my one plus. I'm fed up of the lag on this phone too. When requested a refund for a shxt phone, I was left with such a blunt message "we cannot provide a refund for your phone" Don't BUY THIS PHONE.
I sent in a phone for repair to OnePlus. It was the OnePlus 8. The company had informed me that they wouldn't repair the phone for free, because it was out of warranty, even though I didn't think it was. They sent the phone back to me. I never received the phone, because it got misdelivered. I ended up in touch with a supervisor, who investigated the matter and within several days I was offered a process, where they were supposed to replace my misdelivered phone with the latest model phone. I thought that was a rather generous offer. Little did I know that this would be the end of that supervisor and all other employees communicating with me. The matter has now been going on for at least 4 months and every time I now call the company, I get hung up on by the agents or left on an indefinite hold. When I say indefinite, they keep telling me that they will put me on hold for two minutes and leave me on hold for an hour, at which I hang up, because if they haven't gotten back to me in an entire hour after only mentioning two minutes, they obviously aren't going to get back with me. This is the absolute most poor customer service I have ever had at any company and I don't recommend OnePlus to anyone that expects the company to communicate properly and handle issues in a timely manner, or in my case, handle issues at all. I have typed this entire review, while again being on hold with an agent, that told me to wait for two minutes.
One plus 9 Pro bluetooth fault.Bought this in August and Bluetooth failed in September. Ran through online and phone help with no success.I either want it repaired for free, replaced or a refund but there has been no further help resolving this.because Oneplus aren't abiding buy Consumer Rights act, I am now putting the matter in the hands of the Ombudsman.Very disappointed at how obstructive they have been.
OnePlus was one of my favourite brands until I tried to buy the limited edition Cobalt watch, which has been the most frustrating experience I've ever had.I 'won' the opportunity to buy from the last limited edition drop on September 30. Purchased and paid. On October 2, it was marked as out for delivery. Didn't arrive, so I contacted the delivery partner. Was asked to wait another 5 days, so I did. Didn't arrive, so I contacted OnePlus. I'm told by the support agent that it was damaged and I would be refunded once an investigation had taken place. I ask for a replacement instead, as the watch could not be purchased anymore. Was told this would be possible. On October 17, I receive an email to say that the investigation was complete and I would receive a refund. I go onto the online chat to re-iterate that I'd like a replacement. Agent says he'll investigate. Receive an email later that day to say a replacement won't be possible and I'll instead get a refund within 2-3 days as a matter of urgency. No refund. So, across the two weeks I follow up on 3 separate occasions and each time given an excuse (including a power cut) as to why it hasn't been processed yet - but each time it will be another 2-3 days. In the meantime, OnePlus GIVEAWAY Cobalt watches on their Instagram (October 20) - so they clearly do have more stock, but just aren't interested in replacing the one they never delivered to me.I also try to get this looked at sooner via the OnePlus Twitter support but am told that because I already have an open case, there's nothing they can do.By October 27, I give up on ever actually receiving any refund so issue a chargeback through Amex. But then finally on November 11, I receive an email to say the refund has processed and will arrive in 3-5 days. Doesn't arrive. According to OnePlus, the chargeback that I issued is now the problem and will cause this to drag out over months (even though it's now nearly 2 months from the purchase already).Still waiting to find out what will happen next, and if removing the chargeback will make the refund go through faster or not.Best case scenario... two months, many wasted hours and much stress later I simply get my money back and no opportunity to purchase the product I wanted at retail price. I will never buy from OnePlus again, it's just not worth the stress. And OnePlus, please don't respond to this to tell me to contact your support team. They have consistently lied to me about the possibility of a replacement, and the timelines of any refund for the past 6 weeks.
Awful customer service. They wouldn't cancel an order placed only 20 minutes ago and instead suggested that I wait for the delivery and then reject it. Spoke to numerous useless customer service advisors online who said that I couldn't cancel the order. How ridiculous.
OnePlus keep sending me offers but when I try to buy I cannot because I'm a UK customer. £139 for the Buds in UK or $99 if I live in USA. I told Jaison Paul to stop sending me offers I cannot use. He said it's hard because there is nothing he can do. I said sell them for the price you offer he said sorry. Then I get another email 19nov saying I can buy the buds pro for $99. I said to Jaison Paul don't send me offers if you won't sell them to me. I said it's really upsetting to offer me a good price at Christmas time but then try trick me to pay £139. OnePlus are useless and you should avoid this company.
Made an order on the 12/11/21 in their flash sale. They have taken my money but there have been zero updates on the order status despite their website saying that orders 'ship within 24 hours' and one of their support staff telling me that all orders are processed within '2 days max'. Their customer service have promised to the order will be shipped multiple times and promised to sort it out for me but there has been zero progress. It's very frustrating. They also seem like they all read of the same script which makes they experience quite 'cringy'. I don't know how many of them now have said to me 'That's not good. I would feel the exact same if was in your shoes'. It's a little bit patronising then when the same support staff promise to sort out the situation and absolutely nothing changes with zero updates about the order despite these chancers already haven taken/stolen my money.Edit: In response to Oneplus - Yes you cancelled my order without consulting me and did not honour the price I paid during your flash sale despite sending me an order confirmation email and telling me multiple times I would receive the order. So many lies and false promises. Not even an explanation. Complete joke.
They send black Friday offer of buds for 99 dollars. So I try to buy at that price but £139 is what they make me pay.so I got in touch with customer service and the say it's my fault I don't live in USA. So I say why send me an email telling me a price for a country I don't live in. It's deceiving and I made plan to buy as a present but now I will have no money left. They should not send these cheating and lying deceitful email if they know I don't live in the USA. Horrible company who has lost my costom forevermore. I've had 2 phones and lots of accessories in the past but all they're stuff now is overpriced and the updates ruin your phone. After the last update my WiFi calling stopped. I'm done with them I hate OnePlus now!!!
