Worst Customer Service Ever! Avoid!

I purchased OnePlus Buds Z and they were faulty. The sensors were not tuned properly meaning each time I tilted my head they would pause. I wrote to OnePlus who offered to refurbish or replace them for me. The whole process to just get a refurbishment order placed took a long time. I sent my headphones in July and was told it would be sorted within 10 working days. It is now October and I still dont have my original headphones or any replacement headphones.Every time I have tried chasing it up I am given the same excuses and told that they are chasing it up and will update me within 24-48 hours, which never comes. The last contact they made was in response to an email I sent them. They said that the replacement request has been passed and the next step is to ship out the replacement but the waybill number has not been generated. This was a month ago.I am absolutely appalled at the worst customer service experience I have ever had with OnePlus.

Oneplus took my money without shipping my order

I ordered a mobile phone from Oneplus official website "oneplus.com" but they did not ship the mobile phone to me and I did not received any kind of communication from them after my order. Luckily, I took a screenshot from my order confirmation and order number and called them to ask about the status of my order. Each time they said the had some issue with their system and I will receive my order soon. The last time that I called them, the customer service told me that they have not shipped the phone to me and they will not ship it to me because I ordered the phone as a guest. They did not even refund me. I had to call my credit card company to cancel my payment.

No customer service at all

Before buying, I asked the onplus service (chat) if I can get an invoice as a company. They said yes, just put the name of the company in invoice information (in the fields first name, last name). I did this. I did not receive my invoice. I contacted them back by phone and chat. They finally sent it with ... delivery information I filled. I asked by email to correct the error. They said our system desn't allow any modification!!!

Decent enough devices in terms of their…

Decent enough devices in terms of their hardware but the software and software support is lacking, other devices such as from Samsung/Google (for Android) or iPhone are much faster for software updates and support. Aftercare customer support is also poor.

Horrible scamming aftersales service

After about 6 months of using the OnePlus 9 Pro, the power button stopped working. I sent it for repair. A few days later I got a cost summary. It said my screen, back cover and all cameras had to be replaced and it would cost me over €500! I contacted OnePlus customer service about this, and all they had to say was that the costs were this high because there was water damage, which is absolute bulls***. I told them to send my phone back without repairing anything, and I got it sent back a few days later. Since I bought my phone at a T-Mobile store, I dropped it off at the T-Mobile store, since they have their own repair service. They saw that it was indeed not water damage, and it was a faulty motherboard. They replaced the motherboard and now the device is working fine. I guess the OnePlus customer service just wanted €500 and told me it was water damage because then it would not be covered by the warranty.

Oneplus aftersales service is pathetic

It is really pathetic. I never recommend any body to buy oneplus product. Yes the experience of one plus phone is great but aftersales service is very bad. I bought oneplus earphones but after sometime may be 3 4 months.. I had an issue in charging and connection so i request to book a repair in jaipur service center. After the pickup my earphones arrived there in 4 days and after 7 days when i called them and asked for the status they said they did’t get my product…and after 12 day the accepted that they got the product after 5 days of pickup. And now even after 20 days i dont get my product…i dont know either it was a only fault of jaipur service centre or the oneplus servic was pathetic always. Thanks for the bitter experience oneplus😊😒I want to give negative rating but app doesnt allow me to do it🙄🙄

No accountability and hopeless suppory

10/4 - I am in the US, Bellevue, WA ; I have logged a repair request on 1 Sep- No go (The status still shows device repair in progress, misleading info, while I have not received the shipping label) ; Half a dozen Chat connects - last request 211003-003201; and they mentioned that they ll manually send the shipping label in 2-3 hours (Still no go); I have emailed the support team (211003-000787) , all is stalled; still struggling to understand the service Oneplus provides for its consumer ....what next? Can someone contact me and spare me the despair and fix my phone!Bought a oneplus 8T phone Dec 2020, Aug 2021, it crashed and failed to reboot.Raised two repair requests; one on 29 Aug(got canceled because I did not get my shipping label , and the cx executive attributed it to internal site issue); they created a new repair request US01001X210902004; On both repair requests without me receiving the shipping label, the status changed to 'Received at center'...misleading, have sent emails and have been with chat support for half a dozen times, and everything was checked and rechecked ...but still no shipping label and I m stranded with the problem! I am helpless and oneplus hopeless....so can I get my phone fixed....!
