I placed an order for prescription glasses and paid promptly. The goods were never supplied, and most of my emails and voicemail went unanswered. When I requested a refund, I was ignored. In the end, I had to raise a chargeback through my bank to recover the money. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.
This company offered a frame I liked & lenses I needed at a reasonable price. Other suppliers seem to have doubled their prices in recent times. Delivery was less than a fortnight which was fine. The photochromic lenses do not darken as much as previous ones I have bought, which is a little disappointing but otherwise I'm perfectly happy with the glasses. The other reviews on Trustpilot are somewhat black & white, company responses to the 1* reviews would reassure customers (including me!), I was a little concerned placing my order, but all went well.
I bought some varifocals. Website suggested I should get them in 2 weeks. It took 6 wks.Communication awful. I e-mailed them and left a couple of messages on their answerphone, Got 1 reply, no apology, no delivery date, just an acknowledgement.
Impossible to get in touch with customer service. Was told my order was ready and would be posted the following working day (15 August ) no updated , emails for an update (19 August ) no update still as of 22 August . Been looking at the website no updated either
