I am extremely dissatisfied with the product, four bath towels and four hand towels. The towels are not what was represented on their social media posts and website. They're extremely thin and lightweight, like towels someone would find in the bargain bin at a local discount store. I'm requesting a full refund, I hope they honor their return commitment.
When the colour wants as anticipated, Onuia through Emily were outstanding in the way they responded. They offered another straight away without question and let me keep the old one! They responded straight away. The robe is lovely- good quality and unique, looking sophisticated and well made.
I ordered the 6-piece bundle and 2 matching bath mats. I only received 3 out of the 6 towel set and the bathmats were of particular poor quality- the colour was totally different, the feel was different plus the tags were cut off!! I feel I have been scammed.
The towels are okay but definitely not of the level of quality they claimed to be and charging for. It is extremely overpriced for this quality. I was expecting something much higher quality for the price they are charging. It’s definitely not comparable to the 5 or 6 star hotel towels they claimed to be.
Update: after posting my Trustpilot review Onuia said to email them, after which I was offered a full refund if I were to change my review. If they keep their word I will increase my rating for their customer service. First of all, I fell for their dishonest advertisements on social media saying that they are going out of business and doing a final close out sale. After I quickly made my purchase thinking they may run out of stock very soon, I discovered that they have been making this claim about going out of business for many months (I found one of their advertisements saying this dating back from February 2025). Furthermore, after making my purchase I discovered a nearly identical website selling the same products under the name “Softnss” using the same dishonest sales tactics. Onuia claims their towels are luxurious, plush, “triple the thickness of store brands,” but what I received are the thinnest and lowest quality towels I’ve ever bought and do not look plush/thick like the pictures on their website. The bath mat I received also does not match their descriptions or pictures; it is also very thin with very poor stitching and loose threads all throughout. They also cut the tag off of the item (which is against U.S law), probably to hide what it is actually made of and the real country of origin (which is China, not The Netherlands). Onuia claims to have a 30 day money back guarantee, but they hide the fact that the buyer is responsible for return shipping all the way to China (which was also shocking to learn considering their claims to be based in Amsterdam). After requesting a full refund due to false advertising, Onuia responded with offers of 10% followed by 15% partial refunds, which I declined. I also refused to spend easily 50+ dollars of my own money to ship this large order all the way to China. All in all, STEER CLEAR OF THIS WEBSITE!!
I have bought a number of towels and a bathrobe and to my disappointment, the towels materials are not the quality I expected to be so I emailed the Company applying for a return and refund. However, they kept using the delaying tactics offering a refund of 10-15% and asked me to keep the towels. Until now, they didn’t let me know what’s the refund procedure.

These were advertised as heavyweight luxury towels but they actually were basic quality towels of the type that can be bought at many mass retailers for a fraction of the cost. Want to return them? You have to ship them back to China at your own expense.

This was a complete letdown, totally misleading, and honestly a total waste of money.You could find much better towels in a cheap department store.
