Review Time
As a family we had eye tests on 3rd September 2025 and ordered glasses. Husbands arrived within a few days. However, prescription was completely wrong and he needed to have another test a few weeks later. Still waiting for his glasses. I ordered a pair of glasses plus a pair of tinted/sunglasses. Almost a month to get my glasses but still waiting for the sunglasses. This has been over 2 months now. Tried calling and left a message but no response. Never has ‘Should have gone to Specsavers’ been more appropriate!
I had some trepidation after reading reviews but will use them again and recommend. Nobody was actually rude but it was definitely a no frills experience and I had to do some chasing up of the order. They don't tend to answer the phone, which is irritating but I found going through customer service got me put through. Anyway who cares? I have got very nice clear and sunglasses with anti glint and both varifocal for £120 for the two. A lovely wide choice of frames too.
ASDA Opticians - Trafford Park, Manchester The staff are in the main lovely. The optician was excellent getting my test but tbh I will never order glasses from them again. 4 weeks and counting. Last week I had a nice person on the phone who chased them up and said they had been put on priority and would be in by the end of last week. So I waited until after Easter and called again and told again by the end of the week but this time no priority. Luckily I have a spare pair of specs but imagine if I didn't. Also if I had not chased they would not have told me anything. Not great customer service and not much cheaper than Specsavers.
The gentleman was good enough to fix my glasses whilst I did some shopping and for no charge.Super helpful and friendly. I always use this optician. I find them more thorough helpful than other places I have tried. Would recommend highly .
I have left a review in past for the staff at Asda opticians, Rochdale and yet again I am so pleased with the service provided by the optician, who referred me for Cateract surgery and to the instore staff.Anna fitted the glasses I chose and I went back today and collected them.Zoe and Saba very friendly and I would definitely recommend this opticians, who provide value for money frames and lenses with loads of choice

Excellent from start to finish! Took my prescription along I asked for help deciding on frames, lovely lady in store helped me narrow down my choices. In 6 days I had both a clear pair and tinted sunglasses ready to collect. Great experience
All the staff at Asda Sealand Road OPTICIANS department were brilliant with me. From my first visit to book my test, the staff were so approachable and friendly. My second visit for my actual test was less than a week later. Gareth was brilliant, Very down to earth and friendly. Had brilliant product knowledge and I was super confident and comfortable with him. Also super helpful with fitting and styling. I can't remember my opticians name but it was a lovely lady who clarified lots for me regarding verifvocals. I'm now a week in with my 2 for 120 frames and they've been perfect. All the bells and whistles included with the price of the frames, thin lenses, anti scratch etc. Even covers sunglasses etc. Honestly going to be my lifelong optician now. Already reccomended them to two colleagues. Thanks to all at Asda Sealand Road Opticians.
My husband and I have collected our new glasses today from Asda opticians Barnes Hill Birmingham.Absolutely brilliant service and support from all the staff.Eye test was the best we’ve had in a long while.The price of the glasses are really good as the price that’s on the glasses is what you pay including all prescriptions. £80.00 each or 2 pairs £120.Range of glasses are really good too.Really pleased would definitely recommend.
