shameless company

I shared my complaint here, shortly after I received message from Origins which states to reach them via email and they will take care of my issue. And of course when I wrote them email, I have not received any response. They are just shameless. Customer service doesn’t exist. Please don’t purchase any item if you love yourself.

Shipped old products to customers

UPDATED! Cost almost $30 to ship expired products back without refund. Really bad customer service. They shipped the old products (less than 2 months to expiry) and they make it extremely difficult to get the refund. They made you have to ship back the products by yourself and pay return shipping fee. And until now not sure when I receive the refund.

Shame on you Origins

Shame on you Origins! I’ve never been a victim of a bait and switch operation like yours. I took advantage of a promo that you offered which included a free full sized youth face serum and free full sized night-a-mins with a travel kit of other creams with a $140 spend. I complied with the $140 spend (which my order included a full sized youth serum, eye cream and a night-a-mins) and all the free products were automatically added to my cart as promised. However what I received for free products is baffling. There was only one full sized night-a-mins included in my order instead of two (one purchased and one free). I checked my order on line and it turns out that the system charged me for the purchased night-a-mins however it claimed that the free night-a-mins is no longer available. I checked on line and there are full sized night-a-mins for sale. I was actually able to put one on my cart to check out. So basically you hooked me for the promo offer and did not full fill your own promo! There are night-a-mins product available, you however chose to lie to your clients and claim that there wasn’t any so you could back down from your own promo. Shame on you Origins! This is no way to treat your customers. We are not stupid when it comes to this stuff! There is plenty of completion out there! Way to go to loose a customer! Buyer beware when it comes to any Origins promotional offers, you will be played like I was!

Website sucks!

Website sucks!! Discount applied then went to check out and the discount disappeared. Logged out. Logged in. Discount there and it disappeared again upon checkout. FINALLY it was applied. Checked out and PayPal wouldn't work!!! Checked to see if PayPal was having outages and of course they are not. I WILL FIND ANOTHER FACE CREAM AND NEVER ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE AGAIN!!!! They don't care an ounce about selling product because they can't get their site to work. Just look at the reviews and how many people say they will find another company rather than go through this again. SUCH A SHAME - I LIKE THEIR PRODUCTS - BUT NO MORE!! What are the odds they have kept their online security up to date? They will have a data breach for sure.

This isn’t the first time

This isn’t the first time; every time I try to do something with Origins customer service they cannot do it. I don’t know who they use/hire, if they don’t train properly, but the have THE WORST online customer support. Since my store is now closed I be starting to use a new product, because I cannot continue to order online and have to use their customer service- no more!!!

Poor customer service.I chased up an order which had not been dispatched and was met with defensive talk, no apology, and not the slightest bit of empathy. Very disappointing.

I book an appointment with them and just received this email.“If you have recently booked a facial treatment, due to government guidance we are unable to conduct close-contact services without the use of a face-covering. Therefore, we unfortunately need to cancel all facial related appointments.”I mean really? There no restrictions in the UKUPDATE: I emailed them, they email me back, I answered them and since then I heard nothing back.

bad customer service

I have been with origins for many years and they delivered the order to the wrong address. All they wanted to do was send a replacement which didn’t really make for the inconvenience so I asked for a refund so I could switch to another company with better customer service.

Shocking company as these reviews…

Shocking company as these reviews clearly indicate. They have taken over 175 GBP of my money, 'lost' the order, didn't process it and I am still waiting for the money to be returned now. Constantly sending emails that do nothing and solve nothing but claim to 'care'. They have basically stolen my money coming to have paid it back and referring my to my bank! JUST REPAY WHAT YOU HAVE TAKEN!! Do not use this shambolic company, cannot be trusted, go elsewhere.

First time I’m quitting because of bad service, not bad product.

I’m SO not surprised that they get such bad customer service reviews here. I’ve had at lease two bad customer service experiences, both of which they’ve shown horrible professionalism. The first time, a referral voucher I was about to get disappeared because of a bug in their website. Instead of just issuing me one on the spot, the representative just straight out told me she couldn’t do anything and hung up. The second time, I waited for two months for an order, and they said they’d give me a notice within 45 days; no notice came after 45 days, and they only responded to me after I reached out first. Obviously, I wrote an email saying I want to cancel the order and also complained about their service, saying I’d switch to another brand. No one even apologized for the delay! But I didn’t even get a response for the complaint. Sure, maybe I’m not a big enough customer. I’ve only spent a few hundred bucks on Origins. But I’ve exclusively used their stuff for the last two years, and would, if they don’t have such bad customer service, use it for much longer. This is probably the only brand I’m quitting simply because of the customer service. They have really good products, but this is just insane and I don’t want any of my money going to those negligent and unprofessional customer service departments. After two times of bad experiences I’m now distrustful of not just Origins, but the entire Estee Lauder product line. There are other brands with nice products too and with service like this, Origins can’t win in the long run.
