i have to give this 5 star even though my polar A300 has just stopped working i have had this watch from my cardio rehab which was 11 years ago,this watch never failed in the 11 years i used it with the chest strap monitor which is still working, i was so surprised to see the very bad ratings for the more up to date watches i now have to make my mind up do i buy another polar watch,,,, if i could buy another A300 i would not hesitate

The company dismissed my concerns, stating it was out of warranty and non-repairable. For a sports watch, such a failure is unacceptable; it doesn't serve its purpose. I suspect this issue exists in their other products as well. In my experience, the company does not stand behind its products and shows little care for customers. I cannot recommend this brand—purchase at your own risk!

Although I had to pay a small amount for the one I wanted, I was impressed with their service. This is my fourth watch from this brand, and I look forward to more in the future.
