I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Otrium. It is disheartening to see a company rely on AI-generated communications, particularly when the information provided is inaccurate. I find it unacceptable that I am still awaiting a refund for a purchase made on September 25th. I sincerely hope this matter is resolved promptly, although my confidence in a timely resolution is limited. Order#OUK-152218.
I've been a longstanding and happy customer, but things have been going downhill rapidly in the past year or so. From incomplete deliveries and defective items to customer service being virtually unreachable by phone or chat, the experience isn't like what is was before. Now, Otrium seems to have added misleading advertising to the list. Earlier this week, I received an Otrium flyer with a 30% discount code by post at my home address. The flyer specifically indicated that the code could be used for my favourite brand that happened to be on offer for a few days. Yay, good news! However, the code did not work. I placed the order anyway, to make sure I didn't miss out on the items and was positive that Otrium would fix the problem afterwards. As the phone and chat was unavailble I emailed Otrium customer service abou the problem and kindly requested that they retroactively apply the discount given the problem occurred on their end.Much to my surprise the response was: tough luck, there's nothing we can do anymore now that you've placed the order already.
