I bought a pair of LGR Reunion glasses from this website, expressed my concerns about the legitimacy of them and was pretty much dismissed by the customer service team. They couldn’t prove that they were genuine but wouldn’t accept postage for them to be returned either. I wouldn’t use them again
Ordered glasses on 10/19. Website said estimated shipping time was 9-12 days. They were shipped 11/13. It is now 11/26 and I still don’t have them. They have been at FedEx since 11/18 because of “Clearance delay - Import”. Customer service just apologized, said it’s not normal and should be sent soon. I tried to put in a ticket with FedEx to have it addressed but I’m not sure it will help. Update 11/29 - still no status change on FedEx.
I bought a pair of Sunglasses fromOtticanet online. There was a 13% Black Friday discount which I forgot to add-on before completing my order. So basically I bought it Full Price. I wrote them an email to kindly refund the 13%, not expecting much response. To my pleasant surprise I got not only an email acknowledging my request, but also the refund under 24hrs. Common, that’s what I call Fantastic Customer Service. Thank you Otticanet. I will definitely do business with you over & over again and recommend you too.
I have waited for 3 weeks to drop my review , I have ordered a pair of sunglasses here which I never received . I was told customs had my parcel , I waited and reached out when I was travelling , asked them to re route when it’s eventually released to me but they declined . We agreed to have the parcel returned back to them whenever customs released and I get my refund . It’s been a week after they confirmed returning to them and I was asked to wait for my refund. I get an email today saying the parcel was delivered ,to who ? After we communicated two weeks ago .Kindly refund my $379.95 , I haven’t received nothing and I was clear about my trip .
I had finalized my purchase when I realized the discount code they had emailed me had not been entered and the full cost was charged on my purchase.. I emailed them explaining I didn't enter my discount code and would they be able to credit my card after the purchase had been completed.Of course! they said they could do that for me and they went immediately to credit the discount to my purchase. Have you ever experienced that kind of customer care from other companies? I haven't! The ususual response would be “Sorry, we can't do that but you have 30 days to use it on your next purchase from us.”Thank you Otticanet!
I recently ordered glasses from Otticanet’s Swiss site. The checkout page clearly showed “Shipping: Kostenlos" – there was no visible mention of customs duties, VAT, or handling fees.Only after completing the purchase did I receive an email saying I either had to pay an extra CHF 20 for Otticanet to handle Swiss customs or cover all import taxes and VAT myself. The only “warning” about this was hidden behind a small info icon — not visible unless you click it.For a site targeting Swiss consumers, this is misleading. When a company advertises shipping to Switzerland in CHF with “free delivery,” customers should not have to figure out customs fees after paying.⚠️ Swiss buyers beware: prices shown on their Swiss site do not include import taxes or VAT, even though it looks like they do. Expect extra costs unless you pay at least CHF 20 fee which might vary as well. Very misleading and cannot recommend buying from them!
I am very disappointed about the performance. To get no clear response and ongoing telling your customer that the glasses are supposed to be shipped in 6-7 days and this continuously over months is not acceptable. Most of the times it is better to be transparent. Trust broken.
