Park Seed is a bunch of crooks!!!!!!!!

Park Seed is a bunch of crooks!!!!!!!!One part of their add for Blue Wave Petunias #01538 says you get 100 peleted seeds and on the same page it reads 10 seeds. I thought I had ordered 300 peleted seeds and when I got my shipment I received only 30 seeds. Park Seed wanted me to spend $75 more dollars. They lost a customer as I will never buy from them again. When I was in business for myself and I screwed up I would never expect the customer to pay for my stupidity! Please read from their ad:Blue Wave® is easy to grow from our convenient pelleted seed, which should be started indoors 5 to 6 weeks before transplant to the early-spring garden. Set out plants when all danger of frost is past. Wave® will begin blooming 10 to 12 weeks after sowing. It is magnificent in hanging baskets, windowboxes, and large containers, as well as an unrivaled ground cover for bright sun. Stupendous! Pkt is 100 pelleted seeds.

Heirloom Tomatoes ?????

Bought heirloom tomato seeds. They grew poorly I have transplanted them to their final destination, however they do not look like tomato plant and they have grown veryyyy slowly, I am not really sure they are even tomatoes but I have never had heirlooms before so not sure. they certainly do not behave like normal tomatoes.

Dead plants, no refund.

I ordered My Monet weigela plants and planted them in the fall as directed. They did not come up in the spring. They would not give me a refund because I called a few days past a May 31 deadline I was not aware of.

Terrible warranty on plants

So I have purchased items from park seed the last 4 or 5 years. I have had 2 negative experiences. Last June I ordered seeds when they had a sale. Never received them. Took several weeks and phone calls to replace. They have a very poor tracking mechanism. Decided to give them another chance Last october I purchased a rose bush. Planted it. No growth at all this spring. Emailed them 6 17. Response was your warranty expired may 31st. So if i called in may would they have said wait? They sold an inferior plant and have a terrible warranty. I do not recommend purchasing from them. Ordered from park seed, plant came from jackson and perkins. No more chances for this company

Disappointed....

I am very disappointed, I've ordered from Park Seed for years now and it's always been a good experience. I don't know what's changed but there is zero communication from them. I placed 3 orders they sent me the 2nd and 3rd order but not the 1st order. I emailed them 3 times about my first order with no response. The next thing I know I receive my 3rd order again. So, I thought they ran out of the 1st order and replaced it with the 3rd order? I emailed them again. Next thing I know money was pending in my account for the same price as the 1st order, so I called them and the lady told me they were shipping my first order from a 3rd party, I said okay, that's fine, I guess I'll buy more flowers than I had ordered.... The next day, the pending amount from them disappeared! I still haven't received my first order! They seem to do what they want with no communication or concern as to what the consumer wants! This is bad business, I will take my business somewhere that cares about what I want.

I tried to order a product and once I…

I tried to order a product and once I ordered the product it would disappear and not allow me to print off the invoice and no invoice was ever emailed to me. I called the company and tried talking with a very rude supervisor, Grace Nelson, who would rather argue with me about my order than fix my problem. She continued to argue with me about my order and how I never ordered anything. I finally ended the phone call because she refused to stop arguing with me about my order. I received a double order. My purchasing department accepted the orders and I was not able to return them but I guarantee I will never do business with this company again.

I used to order from Park regularly

I used to order from Park regularly, this is my first time returning in several years as I have relied on local suppliers; but could not find the seeds I wanted (I was a tad late this spring). My complaint is not with the germination, obviously but the really slow, and convoluted shipping method they use: ordred on the 15th, rec´d msg they had shipped promptly, (I live approx 4 hours away from Greenwood, coastal SC). When tracking the package, I found this: from Greenwood to Murrow GA, (3 days), then to Buttner NC! (2 days),all of this with UPSMI (UPS Mail ¨Innovations!¨). NOW it is in W. Columbia SC-transferred to USPS. Much closer to Greenwood than the coast! I have recieved pkgs from the UK in less time! When I think of all the fuel expended, and labor cost for this method--all for 4 pks of seeds... surely there is a more efficient way to ship. I am told I ¨should¨ get it by the 23rd. THis is ridiculous beyond measure. I called customer service (not easy to get a human, by the way), and the first person said, and I quote, ¨you mean you didn´t get what your ordered when you wanted it?¨. That is not a response appropriate from a good customer service dept. After 1 more try I reached another rep who listened, seemed to grasp what I was getting at and indicated the small shipping charge would be refunded. It was more a matter of principle than the amount of money, really but this is a terribly inefficient way of shipping small packages a relatively short distance. When a company (not as large as this one) can ship a CD from England for the same amount Park charged for this, and I get the pkg in a week-- a pkg shipped from Greenwood to my location on the coast should not travel 3 states! I hope, after this, that the seeds I purchased germinate. I will be hesitant to order from Park again.(note: shipment FINALLY arrived today after its curcuitous journey from Greenwood via GA and NC back to coastal SC. Next test is to see if there are as many seeds as the packets promie, and how well they germinate... Hope so!)

I ordered (14) pkg flower seeds. First was invisible butterfly bush seeds. Followed by failed (21) of 25 Magellan zinnia seeds. I have been gardening about 25 years. I have bought from Lowe’s, Walmart,Spring Hill. This year I wanted to try Park Seeds for their quality . Disappointed beyond belief at $51.89.

NEVER Again, and this time, I mean it.

A few years ago I had bad results with seeds from Park. Signifcant non germinating seed numbers. I swore off them for 2 years and decided to give them another chance in 2019. Well, once again, most of the seeds I ordered (flowers and vegetables) did not germinate, and NONE of the calladiums, and half the live plants were alive. These were parts of sevrral orders I made and they WILL NOT answer emails, ever. I sent 5 emails over 3 weeks, and filled out two or three web forms. Finally called in and was told this is their busy season and they were unable to answer emails. I received a partial refund and an explanation that this was probably my fault. YES, MY FAULT FOR ORDERING FROM PARK SEED. NEVER, EVER, EVER AGAIN.UPDATE 05-09-19:I cannot respond, but Park Seed responded below my review asking ME to call THEM to resolve. I sent you FIVE emails, FIVE, plus another 2 or 3 web form requests, ALL WENT UNANSWERED. The response today was WE ARE TOO BUSY, ITS OUR GROWING SEASON. You know how to reach me, I wont waste any more MY time chasing YOU.UPDATE: New response from Park Seed below, stating they can’t find my name. Awww, how does it feel to be ignored?
