Review Time
If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered 4 packs of seeds 22 days ago. They were shipped 2 days later, and arrived in my state at the PO facility 20 days ago. Still no seeds. I called to request information and they were unable to tell me anything, and unwilling to try to track down my seeds. I asked for a refund, which apparently has to be approved, which will take another 7 days to receive the credit. AND, they can't refund the tax, so I spent $.66 on a big fat nothing from this company. I'm sorry, but "10 business days" is a ridiculously long time to wait for 4 packs of seeds which could be sent first class mail for less than the $2.99 I paid. And of course, it wasn't "10 business days", it was 22 days, and still no seeds. Never again Park Seed Co.
POOR quality seeds. I ordered and planted radish, beet, and carrot seeds. Most of them did not grow. The ones that did were small, withered, and wrinkled. The carrots that did grow were bitter or tasteless. When I voiced this to Park Seed company they would not make any adjustments to my order. I would NOT recommend this company. Poor product and poor service.
My dome arrived with 2 small cracks and just one missing bio sponge ( was 59 instead of 60 ) . I sent a pic of the cracked dome and told them one missing sponge as well ( via email).They did me right . They sent me another dome out right away and 60 bio sponges ( so i have 59 extra now ) at no charge. The dome arrived undamaged ( the second one ).The first one probably got damaged in shipping. Thanks for great customer service! Quick reshipment by the way . Got in plenty of time before i need to start my seeds .
I purchased 4 of their Eco-Planter Organic Herb Kits. All 4 arrived around the same time, but the mint package was missing the coco pith. I emailed them to bring it to their attention and here are their responses. #1 "I apologize for the inconveniences But it does appear it was four packages that were shipped could you verify how many were delivered." Why does the number of packages matter, I was missing a part. Anyways, I responded with the number of packages I received. Then they responded #2 "I apologize, I'm not sure what you are referring to. Here are the items that are listed on the website that are included with each kit: Contains a stainless steel net pot, recycled glass grow medium, hemp wick, herb seeds, plant food, and seed-starting tablet. " So I attached a picture of the form that came in my package listing the content that was missing as a "coco pith" (although their description on the site calls it "seed starting tablet". Then I get THE BEST RESPONSE "The Coco Pith is just what was used to begin the plant's growth its not included in the product." I purchased seeds, what are they talking about??!!!... So I again sent screen shots of their site, their descriptions, my package and the pith. And here we are two weeks of emails so I can explain to them their products. I've not gotten a response to my last message.
I have never in my life bought from a more derelict company than Park seed company. Here I am going on 3 weeks after my order and the man that could hardly speak English told me it was sent through USPS and USPS doesn't have tracking numbers and in the same breath told me he could give me the arrival date how do you do that without a tracking number. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this company stay far far away from them once they get your money they don't give a s*** where your product is!! I had to give them one star just to leave feedback!!
Horrible customer service. I sent two emails and no answers. Finally called today and was disconnected. The amount of time it is taking to ship the orders is ridiculous. I called today for the third time to cancel my order. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Two weeks ago I ordered $500.00 of gardening supplies from Park Seeds. Included, but not limited to, were two complete Bio Dome collections, two additional Bio Domes, two seedling heat mats, Bio Blocks with refills, fertilizers and seeds. I began ordering from Park Seeds way back in the 1980's on a recommendation from a master gardener. Naturally, I have also ordered seeds from other companies over the past 30+ years but very honestly can say not one company had a better (or even equal)seed germination rate. Origionally this dual Complete Bio Dome order was intended to give as Christmas gifts. I set one up last night to check it out and was so pleased that I decided to keep both sets for myself. Today I am ordering a third set and have it shipped directly to my daughter for Christmas. Park Seed did an excellent job of packaging fragile items so nothing was damaged. If I could give them 10 stars for their rating I would.
