The product team goes deep into the intricacies of UK payroll without overbearing the UX. They're releasing at a fast pace. Support is fantastic. The price is right. I particularly like that they charge when you run payroll instead of just billing you monthly no matter what. I used to anxiously manually pay my employees one by one. Now, with their Telleroo integration, it's all done automatically. I've already forgotten how terrible it was pre-payfit era. Can't believe I used to rush to complete payroll on time, not being confident at all about the calculations. Payfit handles this beautifully with their checks (comparing gross and net pay from the month before etc).Hell, I'd invest in this startup given the chance!
We moved to using payfit for our payroll just over a year ago and it's the best software decision I've made for a long time. Support requests (when I'm not sure how to do something) are answered within a couple of hours. The software is constantly improving and they listen to feedback, for example I once commented on an excel report getting the same name when downloaded for different months and a week later the report names included the date they related too. I've never experienced that attention to detail from a software supplier. I've seen other small tweaks that I'm sure must have come from other customers comments.Finally, during Covid they reacted quickly to new rules and went above and beyond to make sure our payroll would run on time. It was during this time I discovered I'd been recording holiday the wrong way in the app, which meant the pay totals were wrong for furlough. Payfit support helped identify this, worked out how to resolve it and then did the corrections for me.Truly first class payroll software
