I bought the cooling car seat for my young pup, Hallie. who did not like having the sun shining on her in the car. She'd sit up and try to relocate in less than a minute. With the bed, she settles in and remains there! When I have the bed out to be washed, she is back to her usual restlessness. I also have 2 of the cooling throws, which are now her number one choice to lay on over the other 3 beds nearby. I've tried putting the pad inside on of the beds, and her choice is to still go to the one that is 'on its' own'.
Pelsbarn's cooling dog bed may not feel super fluffy like other dog beds, but your dog will choose this pelsbarn cooling bed with the silky soft bumper to rest his/her head over every over-stuffed puffy furry bed on the market. We bought the cooling blanket to lay over Bosco's existing bed as well as a few new, simple cooling beds. The beds are simple in that they are a cooling blanket with a comforted, well-thought-out bumper for your best friend to lay his/her head on. Since introducing the pelsbarn cooling bed, Bosco rarely chooses his old bed, even with the cooling blanket on top of the fluffy tempurpedic ortho-souped-up gem positioned next to our bed. Instead, our loyal pup selects the pelsbarn cooling bed in another room. He sleeps all night, cool and comfy. No doubt, his old bed will be washed and donated soon. We have been so impressed, we bought the pelsbarn car cooling bed for our anxious traveler. WOW! We NO longer have to medicate Bosco in at all. Bosco easily leaps into the back seat of the truck, allows me to snap the safety belt into the seat buckle. Instead of panting and repositioning himself multiple times over the initial travel hour, Bosco has fallen asleep within the first ten minutes every single drive! Not a single medication has been needed! He quickly cooperates when it's time to go for a drive to the park. We take a few cooling blankets with us and Bosco is in heaven. The training waist walking bag has a place for everything we need, from a water bottle to wipes to poopie bags. It adjusts as well as it packs for travel. I've given the blankets and walking bag as gifts already. Next visit to the vet's office, we plan to donate some cooling blankets for the office pets. Pelsbarn is worth the price. Even my frugal husband is raving over their products. Wow!
The products they sell are EXCELLENT!!! The customer service is out of this world!! They really, really care and have very professional people interacting with customers! I hope they will be around for a very long time because I NEED their products for my babies - I have the cooling beds, the car cooling beds and just ordered the original bed so I can swap it out during the winter. Very pleased with everything so far!
I took advantage of the 2-for-1 sale on cooling blankets for my 88-pound English Cream Golden Retriever! That, in itself, was fabulous! Then, when it arrived, I could take it out of the packaging and put it right on the floor. There was no weird odor or film on the product. She sniffed it, did wormy-worms to make it hers, and ruffled it up a bit, before walking away. She uses the downstairs blanket for after walks or when she's overheated from hanging out in the backyard. They are easily washed and quickly dried. The upstairs blanket is great for warmer evenings, especially when she wants to be close to her people but it's just too warm to do so. We've used one in the car to keep her cool when going to the vet or groomer. She's also used it when watching the construction workers in our warmer rooms at the front of the house so she can sit on it while looking out the window.
I discovered Pelsbarn through Facebook ads. The products looked better than other's I'd seen. So, the little bit of difference in the price of their products, made me hesitate but I took a chance. I guess the old saying of "you get what you pay for" works also for their higher prices. The two items I've purchased are the 'Luxurious Full Backset Protecter' and their cooling blankets.
I received the cooling blankets for both my dog and cat in a few days. Great quality, comfortable sleeping, and very cool. They needed them for the hot weather this month. They both lay on their blankets all the time. The blankets are very nice and the different sizes are great. I would recommend them to any animal parent. I’m going to buy a car bed for my dog before our trip. They look very comfortable
