If I could give 0 stars I would, Firstly this product is cheaply made and overpriced. Do not order from this company which seems like it is run out of China not LA. Thought the website says free shipping and returns I cannot get a person in the company to help with this issue. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
I've reached out to the team to initiate the return process and have yet to hear back after reaching out multiple times. Poor communication and customer service support.Edited rating: customer service eventually reached out and provided me with a refund after seeing the initial review and rating.
I’m going to chime in with the negative reviews as I’m now feeling extra uneasy about my purchase. It’s only been a couple of weeks since my order was placed, but I have reached out via email twice now to check on the status (considering the stated shipping time was 7-10 business days, it should be here by now - or I should have at least been sent shipping confirmation).All I’m looking for is an update so I know what to expect. Simple communication. I am picking our new pup up on 5/19 and expected to have the car seat by then. I would love a response!
To be honest, I had to wait a little longer than expected, but it's worth it! They also communicate it clearly on their homepage that their orders were delayed. I bought the Pelsbarn bed because I wanted a better way to secure my dog after leg surgery while also allowing him to look outside comfortably. He's 15lbs and can sleep on this if he curls up. But, I think he liked that it gave him a better view of the outside so he never slept on it lol. Either way, that works. When he first tried it in the kitchen, he curled up comfortable as if it was another bed. In the car, it let's him see everything outside due to the height of sitting in the front seat while also being secured so he wasn't sleeping on it. You can put it in the back seat, and also on the front seat. I have a separate seatbelt from Pelsbarn for my dog. The material is nicer than expected and not too hard to put together. You can detach parts of it for washing. And it helps contain sand, mud and dog hair in one place! I love it! He loves it! Worth the $$$
I purchased a car bed after looking at the return policy which said you had 30 days to return a product if it didn't meet your satisfaction. Unfortunately, it was too small for our dog and I then got the runaround with the company over its return policy. I give them kudos for eventually responding directly to my concerns and refunding me for the purchase. They were kind and indicated they are a small company trying to improve with all customer feedback. I'm a believer in small companies and wish them success. For anyone considering a purchase, I encourage you to check, check and then double-check sizing and perhaps get clarification on their return policy before ordering.
Terrible company! I placed my order 29 days ago. Received an enrollment confirmation that it would be sent in 2 business days. Still nothing! I’ve sent numerous emails and continue to try the same “canned response” that they are “doing their best”. I’ve tried calling but the call doesn’t go anywhere. I’ve asked in emails for a call back from them, but nothing. They sent me a USPS tracking number almost 2 weeks ago but it is false and goes nowhere. Then a few days ago they sent me a UPS (2 different companies) tracking number which continually says it can’t be tracked. BIG SCAM!! Do not order from them!
I recently purchased a Pelsbarn bed for my furry friend, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. My dog is like my child, and I want him to have the best of everything. I was hesitant at first because my dog is a bit picky when it comes to beds and doesn't like trying new things. But, as soon as I put the bed down, he was all over it!What I love most about the Pelsbarn bed is how comfortable and cozy it is. The vegan fur material is incredibly soft and reminds my dog of his mother's fur. It's like he's snuggling up to her all over again (it's so sweet!). And, because he feels so comfortable and secure, he falls asleep almost instantly. It's such a relief to see him so content and at peace.. I wish I bought it sooner..But, that's not it.. this Pelsbarn bed is also incredibly durable and easy to clean. I no longer have to worry about my dog tracking dirt and hair all over my house or car. And, because it's so easy to clean, I can spend more quality time with my dog instead of constantly worrying about the mess :) Overall, I highly recommend the Pelsbarn dog bed to any pet owner who wants to give their furry friend the best of everything. The emotional benefits of seeing your dog comfortable and at peace are priceless, and the durability and ease of use make it a no-brainer!
Slow shipping, but that's something that's alluded to when ordering. Only thing I would say is make sure you're getting the correct size. Ads are misleading on Facebook and website. Seat was supposed to be 28"x28". My measurements for the one I received weren't close to that, unless they're counting the part of the bed that hooks over the top of the seat, which shouldn't be the case, as that's not what I consider the size needed to consider the dog's measurements. Regardless, they did send me the larger one, and it's exactly what I envisioned. Covers the seat, my 55ish lb dog fits in it great, and I'm very happy that they did that for me. Great customer service.
I would rate the product a 3* but my dog (29kg Labrador) seems to enjoy it so hence the 4*. It is not as high quality that I would expect for this price (€84), and shipping took ages with no info until it arrived in the NL. It is coming from China and takes far longer than the 6-10 days they estimate. It was more like 3 weeks. The large is a perfect size for a Labrador but I wouldn’t recommend for a much larger dog. It is not padded enough to use alone as a bed and should be used on a couch or something soft.Update July 2023After two washings almost all the non slip “gummies’ on the back have come off (washed at 30c, air dried) and it looks terrible. It is poor quality for ca €80 and will not last a year of gentle use. If I had paid €30 I would not feel bad about it but it is not worth the price. There are similar versions on other websites at that price point that won’t leave you feeling ripped off.
