Review Time
I ordered the luxurious full backseat protector. It took over a month to receive from CHINA. In the meantime I had to find something else and I’m glad I did. The information says it fits all cars however there is no way it will work in a Tahoe and it is not of top quality material. I emailed the company back and explained all this to them. And yes I can return it by paying the shipping and a restock fee. So I have to pay because the product was advertised incorrectly and because of their slow shipping. Not to mention all promotional items need to be returned as well. If they would have paid for at least the shipping I would have been inclined to purchase another product however their customer service, or lack there of, has made me decide otherwise.
I placed two separate orders, one for two couch beds and one with the hard car seat cover, calming blankets and a bag. I placed my order in early December, but it took a bit to get my order and the tracking site didn't update, so I emailed Pelsbarn. They were very quick to respond, kept in touch with me throughout the process, checked in with the courier and elevated it to them on my behalf and thanked me along the way. They also emailed me with a coupon for my wait. They were just superb and so kind. And the products are the best!!! So worth the wait. I have rescue huskies, one with seizures and one with fear and anxiety, so I really wanted to try these products. My fur baby with the anxiety immediately jumped on the couch and curled up. He fell fast asleep. That moment alone was worth it. He loves the calming blanket too. I can't wait to put in the car seat and try it out. The products are so soft and they look great too with my decor!! I highly, highly recommend this company. And I absolutely love what they stand for and all they do for the shelter fur babies. If you have been thinking about ordering, but you just weren't sure....I vote do place that order. I am so happy with the products and my experience and I bet you will be too!
My order was placed in early December as a Christmas gift for a friend. The company contacted me to tell me it was running a little late but offered 20% off on the next order. I asked if they could just apply the discount to this current order as a courtesy for being late but they refused. On December 19, the site’s tracking tool showed that my package was out for delivery that day but it never showed up. I wrote the company and they asked me to write this third party shipping company to see where my package was. Why they couldn’t do this for the customer was beyond me. The shipping company is shady and gives one sentence answers with no real details. Then after a few attempts at getting more info from them, the shipping company sent an automated response directing me to contact yet another person (with a Gmail address?) to report a missing package. I wrote that person at least twice with no response. It felt like everyone was buying time and I was being sent on a wild goose chase. I was not confident at all that the product would ever show up. I even started to worry that I had been scammed due to the lack of actual help I was receiving. The company had not offered to send another bed expedited, nor refund me, nor even give a discount for the inconvenience. The package finally arrived on December 31. I’m giving 3 stars because the bed itself is nice and the dog it’s for seems to like it. However, I don’t know that it was worth the headache I went through to get it. While customer service is responsive and friendly via email, they truly didn’t do anything to help or problem solve and they put the responsibility of chasing the package on the customer. The process took up way too much of my time and energy and I wasn’t able to give it as a Christmas present as planned because it was way too late. I’d say if you’re going to order something, do it at least 6 weeks in advance of when you need it to be safe. And if you have all the time in the world and don’t mind waiting, then it’s a nice product. If you need it quickly or for a gift, etc. maybe look elsewhere for something similar. Overall, experience wasn’t great but product is nice.
I placed an order on December 7 for a road trip I am going on with my 4 dogs. Today is the 23rd and still have not received my order. I have called and emailed several times and received nothing.! They could at the least emailed me
It took about 3 weeks to finally receive the sofa cover bed. I thought the faux fur was nice and it is non slip on our leather sofa. What the heck is the bolster stuffed with? It's hard and crunchy. The product does not come with any care instructions so I'm not sure if it is washable or not. I don't think I'll be a repeat customer. I've had many other similar products for our pets that cost less and are better quality
The organization, staff, and many products I purchased are terrific.The ONLY issue I have is the advertising of an “ orthopedic” bed, when in reality it was simply a thin egg crate piece of foam rubber. The dog might as well be laying on the floor. I have placed a second padded bed under the” orthopedic” for now, but have asked this wonderful company to pursue the “true” definition of “orthopedic or memory foam” in future beds advertised as “ orthopedic”. Then l will try again…….
Their products are terrible. When I opened the package, material from the bed went all over the house. I had just finished cleaning my house to include moping the floor.Instead 9f giving me return label to send it back for a full refund, they refused to give me one and only offered me a 20% credit. Beware of this unreputable company.
I recently purchased a dog bed for my dog Nelson. It is so soft and very well made. He absolutely loves it! I placed my order we no problems and I received it with no problems whatsoever!I would not hesitate to purchase something else from there in the future. I also highly recommend it to other pet owners!
I did not receive my entire order but they said i have. They asked me to send photos and each time I try i get an undeliverable message. I have tried 3 different ways. I bc'd myself and received it. I have called and left 2 voice mails with no response. I bought 2 couch beds a back seat cover and 2 seat belts. I am very upset they they do not respond. So now it looks like I spent $100's and don't have the merchandise. I wish I would have read more reviews before placing my order
