This company sent me a defective car bed. The zippers don’t work. They acknowledged the problem and are “working on it”. They suggested I purchase “zipper locks“. After four emails, filling out their form, and trying to reach them by phone, they finally offered to accept a return, but expect me to pay the $30 return postage for defective merchandise.
As many of the reviewers have shared here, I wish I had done more research BEFORE making my purchase. While they were quick to take my payment on November 24, 2024, shipping of my order has been in limbo – and it's now December 18. After sharing a few meaningless "shipping updates", their response to my last inquiry was... "I've sent your request to our warehouse and I'm hoping we can still make this cancelation for you. I'll keep you posted as soon as I hear back from them about the status of your order.Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding." - Maya This should not require patience and understanding spanning nearly a month. Either you have product to ship or you don't. If you don't you stop taking orders and give a prompt refund. NO hope involved, "Maya" (who is the company mascot and not a real customer service person.)I've initiated a fraudulent claim with my bank as this length of delay is unacceptable.
This is my edited review since they said they can’t find my name in an order…PELSORG107975…first name Stephanie..Ordered a sofa bed and a buy one get one calming blanket. Placed the order on 11/21/24. Almost a month later, and 16 useless tracking updates, I’m asked to be patient. I have reached out 3 times and they tell me nothing different than the pointless tracking updates. I can’t even tell what city it’s supposed to be in. The website says there is 8.7% of their stock remaining and that most items will not be restocked. If that’s not the writing on the wall I don’t know what is! Guess I have to dispute it with my credit card company.
I ordered something from Pelsbarn and the company claimed it was delivered on December 9th. It is December 17th an Pelsbarn is still investigating the delivery- looks like this gift won't appear under the tree this Christmas. Never again!Today (Jan 7, 2025)) I received an email stating an apology- however my order was processed on November 23, 2024, and I reported no delivery on December 9, 2024. Pelsbarn proposed a resolution 18 days after I reported not receiving the product and the day after Christmas. A sad Christmas! Pelsbarn's lack of concern and customer service will prevent me from doing business with them in the future... beware!
Purchased a seat cover on 11/18/24 and paid extra for priority handling to expedite. Finally received the item on 12/6/24--almost 3 weeks after "expedited" processing. The seat cover is very thin and cheap feeling so I immediately requested a return. I received an email telling me to fill out a return request form and I'd be contacted within 48-72 hours with return instructions. It's now 12/17/24, I've sent 2 additional emails and attempted to reach them by phone--all with zero response. I'll have to dispute the charge through my CC I guess.**edit based on response from Pelsbarn: You can’t find my contact/order/email in your system bc I’m obviously not sharing my personal info or order # on Trustpilot-a public forum. I’ve already emailed multiple times with no response received. That’s the entire problem!
I wouldn't give any stars if I didn't have to. I bought the "Luxurious Cozy Pelsbarn Sofa Bed"! It arrived from China, so it wasn't made in the US, it was vacuumed sealed and when I opened it, the most horrible smell came from the bed. I put it on my backporch on a drying rack thinking it would air out and be ok. This is day 4 and the smell hasn't changed. My dog won't go near it, and I can't even bring it in my house because of the smell. I have been emailing with Joanna and she claims that "they have conducted multiple quality checks and have not encountered odor-related issues during inspection!". They keep telling me to unzip the removable cover and I can wash it. There is NO ZIPPER!! I keep telling them that! Do they not know about what they claim is their product. They gave me 2 options: 1. A return for the item, which I don't know what that's about since I haven't heard back, and 2. A 20% discount out of Goodwill. GOODWILL, are you kidding me!! Why would I want a 20% discount on something that was pricey, smells horrible, and is useless!! I would never recommend this company to anyone!!
