I agree with other posters that there is absolutely no customer service when you attempt to return a product. I was given the option of paying nearly $30 to return the item myself or receiving a partial refund if the original purchase price. I chose the latter and 1 month and two separate follow ups later—-no refund and no further responses. WILL NEVER consider purchasing from this company again.
During delivery of the product the delivery driver ran over landscape lighting and caused $100 in damage. Upon reaching out to Pelsbarn (included video of incident and receipt for repairs) they stated they would not give me the courier company information but would act as intermediary on our behalf. It is now about 1month later and here is Pelsbarn’s final response:Thank you for your patience.We have received feedback today, and according to the courier company, this type of issue falls outside the scope of their claims process. They recommend reporting the matter to the police for assistance.Unfortunately, in cases like this, we do not have direct control over the delivery service. However, as a gesture of goodwill, we would like to offer a 15% refund on your order.Once again, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused.Pelsbarn would like to send me $26 for $100 in damage as ‘a gesture of goodwill’. I have now paid $279 for a $179 item (156% of the cost). In addition, rather than remitting the cost of the damage they would prefer to make it a criminal matter? Update: 01/23/25After posting a review the company reviewed my correspondence and evidence, and decided to issue a refund for the cost of the item. I appreciate their willingness to address the matter and take steps to resolve it.
My dogs absolutely LOVE their new bed from pelsbarn. I bought it for my 11 year old beagle who spent her first 9 years as a laboratory test subject. She is now free, living her life as a family pet so I wanted to give her something special. She loves this new bed so much. My other dog saw how much she loves it and now squeezes his way onto the new bed and they are cuddling together and sharing in the comfort. Wonderful product!
Love the new dog car seat. It is so soft and roomy., it's like a luxury bed. Both my mini dachshunds fit in it and I love the clip it comes with that fits into the seatbelt holder, And two belts keep it clipped in snuggly on the seat. Definitely recommend it
I orddered this gift for Christmas on December 1st. I still do not have my $ 300.00 order. All I get is crap emails with excuses. They tell you one thing and do another. BUYERS BEWARE! I received an email offering me 20% my next order. Why would I ever do business with them again when I still haven't received my first order? Also it ships from china so that explains allot. has to clear customs etc.. Not worth the agriration. Buy elsewhere.
Placed an order 12/1 and yet to still receive the item. It’s now been 17 days. I’ve emailed twice inquiring about my order and have just gotten auto reply answers. Terrible customer service. Don’t know if I’ll ever receive product or get a refund at this point.
