Perry Streetwear should've been shut down months ago. My experience was in early September.Your best bet is to contact Trading Standards via the Citizens Advice Consumer Helpline on 0808 223 1133. The company is registered at Companies House is BM Ecom Ltd.You can probably get your money back using 'Chargeback' (I've done this) which is a card purchase protection scheme operated by Visa (and other cards) which can be accessed through your bank. The money will be returned from Perry Streetwear's Bank :-)
Awful company. Essentially a scam operation. Poor quality clothes, misrepresented by the website.Same comments as everyone else regarding refund. I was asked to be ‘behave myself’ in my very explicit correspondence as I was apparently speaking to a person. My view is that Benan Yuksel AKIF, the director of BM ECOM LTD Company number 14057902 is deliberately scamming people and doesn’t deserve to be spoken to in a kind manner what so ever.A complaint will be lodged with Companies House and Trading Standards.
I ordered 2 denim JACKETS from the website, with their contact address as Kent with a UK phone number. A few weeks later I receive 2 cheap denim SHIRTS from China. Their phone number doesn’t work and their communication was very bad. I ultimately send the shirts back to their address in Kent and then they tell I should have returned them to China, that I breached their returns policy and I’m not eligible for a refund. So review for yourselves if you should order from them…
So as an update I’ve contacted this company for a refund and the bot has come back to offer me a 10% refund and I keep the clothes. Well, they’re so absolutely rubbish and un-sellable it’s not worth it. It then offered 20%…still not worth it. I suggested 80% but it didn’t respond to that. Now to return it I need to send to China at a cost of £33, which I’d be willing to do to call their bluff and have more ammo for trading standards. But I need a returns form and there isn’t one. The bot doesn’t send one out and there isn’t one on the website. I’ve emailed for one but time is running out on being able to return this crap. The website says they must be there within 30 days of receipt. The email says they must be sent within 30 days of receipt. 🤷🏻♂️Overall message is the same…DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY AND IF YOU HAVE BEEN DONE BY THEM TELL TRADING STANDARDS WHO PRESUMABLY MUST ACT IF THEY HAVE ENOUGH EVIDENCE. Again, just to note that on here it is not possible to give zero stars so it looks like I’m giving them some credit. I am not!
Shocking, would not recommendItem was wrong colour, asked to return for a full refund. The process was arduous, sending photos, kept offering me 10% of item price not to return it?? It was shocking quality and didnt even fit! I asked to return it to the office in Dover, no response, then told to send it tracked delivery to China which was more than half the £40 purchase price. Have been totally ripped off and would never recommend them to anyone as the item was appalling quality i have not even donated it to charity. Straight in the bin and lost £40. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE they have no interest in refunding money for appalling items. Read all the other reviews elsewhere i wish i had!!!!
Dire company. Don't go near them. Wish we'd checked before ordering. Daughter chose brown knee-high boots. Took AGES to arrive, despite constant chasing and generic email replies. If only I'd known it was coming from China it would have made sense, but equally I'd never have bought. The company website says the main office is registered in Kent (it's obviously not). The boots were folded in the package, quite literally like cardboard, and the soles look as if they've been stuck on with Pritt in a Year 6 DT project. Phone number naturally doesn't go through to anyone and rings off. When I asked for a refund by email, they responded that I could keep the boots for a 20% reduction of the price. I've politely declined and said I want the refund and to send me through details of how to go about this. During the no-show of the boots, I had meanwhile reported to AMEX who reimbursed me, but not sure what happens now since the boots did arrive in the end.Am waiting for them to get back to me about refund/returns, since this is not an automated online process. Such a waste of my time and money................................................Edited to add: Just received their email now about returns – no surprise now that they want me to return to China.... Verbatim from their email:Thank you for your message. We appreciate your patience throughout this process. As requested, you may return your order under our satisfaction guarantee. Please ensure that your return meets the following conditions:Sent within 30 days of receipt, in the original packaging, and with no signs of use.The return shipping cost must be covered by the customer, as the return is the customer’s responsibility. We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping method to avoid lost parcels. If the return cannot be tracked, we will not be able to process a refund.Return address: **[not their Kent registered address online]**Destinatário: Naishi-Sherry Naishi East Lift Warehouse on the 5th floor of Building 4, Phase 2, Niannianhong Furniture Group, Choujiang Street, Yiwu City, Zhejiang Province 322000 Nº Telemóvel: 13735099963To proceed with your return, please complete our Return Form before sending your parcel. We’ll be happy to assist you.Best regards,---------I now need to work out if the hassle and cost of returning to China is less or more than the cost of the boots + the 20% discount they've offered me.Anyone know how we can legally nail these guys from in the UK? Is there ever any comeback?
I'm afraid the rather dishonest Mr Akif has got your money and the best you can hope to get back is 20% of what you paid. He'll try 10% first but hold out for 20. Of course, requiring you to return your goods to China doesn't tie in with UK trading law but he will claim it does because it's in the T&C's - it's not. A scam like that needs to be obvious at the time of purchase and it certainly isn't. Your best bet is to contact Trading Standards via the Citizens Advice Consumer Helpline on 0808 223 1133. The company that Akif has registered at Companies House is BM Ecom Ltd.UPDATE! You can probably get your money back using 'Chargeback' (I've done this) which is a card purchase protection scheme operated by Visa (and other cards) which can be accessed through your bank. The money will be returned from Mr Akif's bank which might be comforting to you but probably not Mr Atif :-)
This company is in China pretending to be in England. What was ordered to what was received was completly different. When trying to make a return they do not respond for days, then they stall the return. You must pay to return to China. PLEASE DON'T BUY FROM THESE CON MERCHANTS!!!
