placed an order of over a £1000.00 and was promised i would receive these goods within a week.we are nearly 2 weeks in and still no help have called at least 7 times and no one bothers to get back to you i also sent many contact us messages but again no one bothered to update me.if i ran my small business as these people do i would go out of business just wish i could give less than 1 star.
After leaving a rubbish review Perspexsheet Uk got in touch and worked hard to find out where my Perspex mirror was. It had left them a fewDays ago and sadly had been lost by the courier company. I was refunded in full after a few days of investigation. Sad not to have the order in place but glad to have had the situation sorted out.
Their front web page states next day delivery. Then when ordering it states 3-5 working days. Ordered on a Saturday and still hadn’t arrived by the following Thursday so I chased to make sure I’d be in. Be next week they said. So that makes it 6-whenever business days delivery. ETA. The goods finally came two weeks after placing the order. The sheets were not made to specification. Awful transaction. The management/owner needs to sort it out. There’s several Perspex companies out there. Chris was great though. Credit where credit’s due.
Below you can see my original email and response to their reply. I have altered my initial 1 star review to a 2 star. If I could split my review in two it would be 1 star for delivery and initial customer service but 5 star for customer service once Chris took over! He reached out to me personally via WhatsApp and sorted out a refund. His professional customer service he changed my mind with regard to doing business again with Perspex sheets Uk. 14 days and I’m still waiting for my order!You can see my original message below this. I have just read the reply from Perspex sheets uk. Whilst I appreciate the quick response and professionalism of Chris, I cannot understand how it took 9 days before my product was even shipped. I was told 3-5 working days for delivery. I have had to use another supplier, the project I needed the Perspex for needed to be finished today, 3rd December. I made my purchase on Wed 20 November. I expected it on a next day delivery. When my product had not arrived by Monday 25 Nov I called to ask where my product was. I was told that I had not selected next day delivery and that now my product was on their standard delivery service of 3-5 working days. By Thursday 28 Nov my product had still not arrived so I called again. This time I was told that they couldn’t guarantee 3-5 working days and that I would get an email to notify me when it was on its way. At this point I asked to cancel my order but was told that it was already in production and that because my product was made to measure it could not be cancelled. I looked into this on ‘citizen advice bureau’ and found that if a company is selling a product and it does not have the standard 14day cooling off period, ie, a made to measure piece of Perspex, the company has to inform you of this. I emailed and requested that the company inform me of where I could find this information on their website, my email was ignored and instead I was informed that my product was with the ‘quality control’ department before it moved to the shipping department. Monday 2nd December and I’m still waiting for the product!
