Sent in an excellent condition iPhone 14 Pro which was quoted for £660 value. Initially I left a review that was negative due to some issues around the revised quote, the company reached out to me today to make it right and I appreciate the extra steps for customer satisfaction.

I decided to use phonebox because of the great reviews. I had a Samsung galaxy S21 in good condition. I was quoted £140.00. I have given phonebox three stars because they were excellent with communication with emails, texts and sent me the packaging in the post and I received it the following day. All really good and went smoothly. Sent my phone, with written details, bubble wrapped and put my phone in the two envelopes I was provided. Had a quick response they had received my phone but due to the LDS dead pixel needing replacing and they said some chip marks, scratches on the device which I totally disagree with as my phone was immaculate. The guy in the mobile phone store comment on how well it looked when I bought my new device. I had an offer from phonebox which went from £140.00 to £30.00. I accepted the offer as I can't be bothered with the hassle and any funds are better than nothing. Next time I will sell in through my network store as they offered me £75.00. Just thought I could sell it for a bit extra. I gave three stars because even when I was disappointed with the offer the communication was excellent.

Not hugely impressed. I get the sense they offer a huge cash incentive and then find ‘faults’ with the device to mark you down.I submitted a phone that was cosmetically within their guidelines and had been tested right before boxing for software. Unfortunately they downgraded me and offered almost 50% of what I was quoted due to ‘damages’. Obviously I was then hit with ‘accept now for same day processing’ because they know people are looking for a quick resolution and not to have the item returned and then have to list it themselves. Sad that they know they only need people’s business one time, mostly. Yoy can get more for your money on eBay/selling independently; do that instead of these profiting off your devices.
