Our discussion regarding carpet options with Carl at the store was very helpful. He listened and understood what we were looking for. He was able to offer excellent advice about the products available, showing us samples leading to a complete change in what we expected to purchase. Instead of wool we went for a faux option, looks like sisal but much more practical. The taped edge on the stair runner gives a contemporary feel to an otherwise Edwardian hallway. The fitting team Graeme, Paul and Will did a great job, taking trouble to ensure solutions for any minor issues.We are very happy with the service and how our carpet looks and feels.
Returning again to PONSFORDS this time ordering dining suite, sideboard unit and garden furniture. Suraj as always, was there to guide, advise and support our purchases. We were offered complimentary drinks by Suraj so that he could check that all the items we were ordering were available. Unfortunately the Cafe (on the top floor - you need to visit next time!) had actually just closed. Regardless, Denise, the lovely lady working in the Cafe reopened and immediately served us two hot drinks with a smile and a lovely chat. Denise is an absolute credit to this fabulous business and made our shopping experience even more special. She went above and beyond to help us and offered us exemplary customer service! After refurbishing our home we were in need of some new furniture. We spent a lot of time in Ponsfords assessing the wide range of options. The range of choice is excellent and all the staff are friendly, helpful and informative. We initially bought a sofa after receiving a great deal of information and support from Mary and Carl. We are very happy with it. Then we moved onto exploring tv consoles and sideboards and as a result spent a great deal of time with Jonathon. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he produced a number of designs for us to consider. We bought two low boards that have proved to perfectly meet our needs and now have a sideboard and new dining chairs on order. Jonathon guided us through all this activity and his patience and knowledge has been very much appreciated.
Just had 3 bedroom carpets fitted. Purchased from Ponsfords who couldn’t have been more helpful and informative. Graeme and Will were the fitters. They were brilliant, did a fantastic job and went above and beyond to make sure they did a perfect job.More than happy with both Ponsfords and the fitters.Wouldn't go anywhere else for future carpets and furniture.
Bilal who sold us the kitchen stools was extremely diligent and professional and Caroline who helped us buy a sofa was extremely enthusiastic and also very competent. A very pleasurable experience all round thanks to the professionalism of the staff Joe & Rebecca
I cannot speak highly enough about the service we received from the sales lady Hak when we came to look for a new chair and settee.She was so knowledgeable, has an eye for your colour scheme and was most patient as I was backwards and forwards with my criteria.She goes over and above, she has impressed me that much I won’t be going anywhere else for other pieces of furniture and carpets. Just good old fashioned service, she made it a pleasure.
Amazing choice of carpets! Carl at Ponsfords was really helpful, pointing out choices we would never have considered. He came out to measure, and the fitters were fantastic. Not one of our walls is straight, so it was a complex job. The team were so professional. Would recommend unreservedly!
